I like the way CM Punk has taken himself to a higher level. He might be the best heel in wrestling.

Miz has been voted the #1 wrestler according to PWI.

TNA star Matt Jackson (who wrestled under the name Max Buck as part of the Generation Me tag team with Jeremy Buck) wrote the following on Twitter.

"Want you to hear it from us first: Yesterday, we asked for our release. Special thanks to TNA & the fans for a wonderful experience. Great experience, but definitely time to move on to something new. So much to say, but I'm gonna sit & let this all digest for awhile."

If I am the WWE, I resign Chavo Guerrero as a writer and trainer. He has the knowledge to do an outstanding job behind the scenes.

There have been changes to the WWE writing staff. Ed Koskey is the new head writer of Smackdown and David Kapoor (he plays Ranjin Singh on TV) is the new head writer of Raw. Michael Hayes and Brian Gewirtz held the job before, are now in charge of setting up the direction of both shows and give them to the McMahon’s.

Sin Cara has been suspended for 30 days due to a wellness policy violation.

Classic interaction between R-Truth and Triple-H and their invisible guys on last nights Raw.

SmackDown taping is coming to Jacksonville, Fl on Tuesday December 6th and I can’t get off from work. As Ron Simmons would say DAMM!!!

WWE Money In The Bank Pay Per View - Outstanding!

WWE Money in the Bank Results
Sunday, July 17, 2011
From Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois

In a dark match Santino Marella and Vladmir Kozlov defeated David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty when Santino pinned Otunga in a non-title match.

SmackDown MITB Ladder match:

Kane, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater will compete for a chance to face the World Heavyweight Champion.

In the shocker of the night, Daniel Bryan wins the SmackDown MITB match by using several elbow shots to the head of Wade Barrett on the top of the ladder and then kicking him off and then grabbing the briefcase.

Sin Cara was taken off in a stretcher during the match. For the record I picked Wade Barrett. This match was fantastic.

Diva Champion Kelly Kelly retains her title as she hits the Kelly Kick and follows it up with the pin.

This wasn’t a bad match. Just a filler until the next match. I did pick Kelly Kelly.

So far 1-1.

Mark Henry defeats The Big Show.  Mark uses the World’s Strongest Slam, then goes up the ropes for a splash on the Big Show for the pin. After the match Henry continues to beat up The Show using a chair on The Big Show’s ankle.

Oh yeah, I picked Henry. I’m 2-1.

Raw MITB Ladder Match:

Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Alex Riley, Evan Bourne, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, R-Truth and Jack Swagger will compete for the chance to face the World Champion.

Alberto Del Rio wins as he and Rey Mysterio are on the ladder, Del Rio takes off Rey’s mask, and both fall off the ladder, Alberto throws Ray’s mask away, then climbs the ladder and get’s the briefcase.

I picked R-Truth so I am 2-2

World Heavyweight Title match:

Christian is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champ as he spits in the face of Randy Orton. This, obviously pisses Orton off and he low-blow’s Christian causing the referee to disqualify Orton and giving the win and the title to Christian.

After the match Orton continues to beat up on Christian.

I picked Christian now am at 3-2.

WWE Championship Match:

CM Punk is the new WWE Champion by defeating Cena, in perhaps John’s greatest match ever. This was a very, very CM Punk crowd as its in his home town of Chicago. The ending happens when Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis come to the ring as Punk is putting Cena back into the ring, Punk is distracted while Cena locks in the STF, Vince asks the timekeeper to ring the bell but Cena breaks the hold and hits Laurinaitis, then John tells McMahon “not that way.” Cena gets in the ring and Punk hit’s the Go To Sleep and pins Cena for the title.

Cena had at least 5 wrestling moves, 2 of them he never used before.

I got this one right so I’m 4-2, but I also thought that R-Truth would turn in the MITB to pin Punk, but that didn’t happen.

This was one of the better WWE PPV in a while.

Wrestling Wednesday (Later than ever edition) WWE PPV MITB

This Sunday, July 17th, the WWE will hold its Money in The Bank PPV. Here are my predictions for the show.

Diva Champion Kelly Kelly defend her title against Brie Bella. Kelly Kelly is on a roll and the WWE likes her, so I think she will retain her title against Brie by disqualification.

In the battle of the big men Mark Henry goes up against the Big Show. This can be an excellent match as Henry can go step-for-step against the Big Show. I think Henry will get the win pushing him to a long overdue main card wrestler.

SmackDown MITB Ladder match:

Kane, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater will compete for a chance to face the World Heavyweight Champion.

This one is a tricky one. On one hand, I think that Cody Rhodes will take it. On the other hand, either Barrett or Sheamus can pull it off. Kane won’t win, and I know that Bryan, Cara, Gabriel and Slater can have an outside chance to win the match, but in the end I think Barrett will return for another run at the title.

Raw MITB Ladder Match:

Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Alex Riley, Evan Bourne, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, R-Truth and Jack Swagger will compete for the chance to face the World Champion.

I know that Riley and Bourne have been getting a good push lately, The Miz has been on a losing streak, and Swagger has no chance, Kingston, Del Rio and R-Truth are the favorites to win this match. In the end, the winner will be R-Truth and hopefully there will be no spiders in the briefcase.

World Heavyweight Title match:

Randy Orton defends he title against Christian. Christian is overdue for a major win considering he was jipped at the last PPV. Christian will win.

WWE Championship Match:

John Cena will take on CM Punk for Cena’s title. CM Punk, wrestling in his home town of Chicago, will defeat Cena to become the new WWE Champion.

Don’t get too excited about Punk winning. After he wins, R-Truth will cash in his title chance and defeat Punk to become the new Champ. The Truth has set me free!!

Three matches can steal the show:

1: As has happened the past couple of weeks, the intensity of Mark Henry and the Big Show can make this an epic battle.

2: Raw MITB Ladder Match has a lot of high fliers mixed in with some technical wrestlers.

3. As much as I dislike Cena, he can’t carry a match, CM Punk will help elevate Cena to another level, if that is possible.
