It’s bigger than Michigan Ohio State. at least that’s what the producers , writers , and directors at Fox sports would lead us to believe. Yes Folks between 4:15 Est and 7:30Est welcome to the NFL on Foxs tribute to Brett Favre. For the next three and half hours it's all Favre all the time. I'm hating the spin that Fox will put on this game I dread just thinking about it. I like you will watch and let the hair on my back stand up just thinking about. the only thing worse would be if they moved the game to Monday Night on the 4 letter network. than it would be an hour of Boomer berman stroking his ego by stroking Bretts ego.
It’s Brett Favre returning to Green Bay after a year and half absence which he retired and unretired at 850 times. During that period the 4 letter network let us know when Brett shaved when he farted, when he burped,, when he napped, when played high school football. Now it’s Fox’s turn and I hope all of you get your local team playing at 4 for the safety of your children and your insanity instead of being subjected to the Vikings and the Packers.
Unfortunately , what should be a pretty good football game and entertaining partly due to Brett playing like dare I say Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers. The unfortunate part is it will be extremely over done You know the drill Brett is having fun out there. There will be highlights of Brett in the Snow, in the rain and on the frozen tundra. There will be highlights of Brett beating the Vikings. There will the typical network kissing Bretts butt.
A quick look at the numbers between Green Bays lost son and Aaron Rodgers well kids they are pretty close Favre as thrown 228 times and has completed 157 a 60% completion rate for 1681 Yards 12 Tds and 3ints. Aaron Rodgers has thrown a184
Times for 121 completions 66% Completion rate Rogers has 1702 Yards 11 Tds and 2 ints.

Like everything Favre the networks will just take to the next level much to the shigrin of the viewing audience. This isn’t so much of a knock on favre himself as the coverage of all things Favre. Personally, I think he is going to face a very pumped up packers team and it will as stated earlier be a pretty good game. So I will be throwing my distain for Favre coverage on the back burner to be entertain by Favre, Aaron Rodgers . I always think it’s special when I can watch Adrain Petersen. So despite the overdone coverage which I will tune out I’ll get my NFL fix then again there is always DVR for those 1pm match ups.
