Well as we head into another week, we are getting closer to the start of football season as the journey to the Super Bowl begins in Canton, Ohio with the Hall of Fame game featuring Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The first thing I am going to ask however, is does it really matter whether or not Sean Payton is actually there, and or the players who will not be playing due to their own carelessness and poor decision making concerning the bounty investigation. I think not, and screw them any way for trying to injure players intentionally. They should have been banned for life, and should feel fortunate that Goodell at least allowed them to return.
Apparently this is not going to go as smoothly as I hoped, my shoulder is acting up along with my laptop. By the way.......

Who woke these clowns up again, I know they have something to prove but they have beat the crap out of the Indians this weekend. Which in turn will lead to this...........

No offense to the Indians, but Johnny Damon and Derek Lowe are not the reason they are 50-57. They cannot score runs and have lost 7 in a row, and Ubaldo is there #1? It leads me to this also......

Refer to above picture, and I ask how he survived not being designated for assignment over Don Kelly. Guess it proves my theory that he is Leyland's boy. First Inge and now Kelly, Don was not having a great year and I am not defending him by any means, but come on Dirks is turning out to be a far better player than either of them.

Well Indians fans this is what you get today trying to avoid a sweep, he's pissed about the way he has been pitching lately. I do not envy you or your chances of not being swept this weekend by the Tigers.
About time he won a race, it was actually the first race I have been able to watch all summer due to my work schedule and working Sundays. Which leads me to this........
I have a feeling that this fall is going to be exciting for baseball with the two additional wild cards keeping the interest away from football, and the stadiums of the teams in contention for those spots full. This was one of Bud's better moves since he became the Commissioner. If they divisions continue to play out like they are, we may wind up with the wildcard play-in game plus some teams playing a one game playoff just to get in. Wouldn't it be something if the over acheiving "Moneyball" boys out in Oakland decide the fate of the Angels and Rangers? That would be a major hit for the NFL, if the division races were close until the end of the season.........
