Hey there ladies and gents, and welcome once again to Whip It Out Wednesday here at the Gab. A lot to get to this week, so let's get right down to business.
Watching the Red River Rivalry game this past weekend made me realize that it really is time for Sam Bradford to quit trying to be the hero of all the folks in Norman, Oklahoma and get whatever surgery he needs to try and salvage what is left of his first round draft status. I mean, at this point, playing another single down of college football would be almost borderline retarded behavior. The guy has already gone from somebody who might have gone in front of Stafford AND Sanchez in last year's draft, or top 5 for sure next year, to being lucky if a team takes the chance on his shoulder and uses a top 15 pick on him next year. I know the guy wants to do what he can to get back on the field for the Sooners, but there gets to be a point where you need to worry about your own future and quit worrying about the university that is exploiting your blood, sweat and tears for a sizeable profit.
The thought that Cincinnati QB Tony Pike might try to play again this year despite having surgery this week to repair a plate in his left arm takes me down the same road. Sure, the Bearcats are ranked #5 right now and have a shot at being college football's biggest "Cinderella" since Boise State, but this is the second time this kid has gone down with the same basic injury. I would hope that Cinci coach Brian Kelly would have enough respect for this guy's future to at least keep him out this Saturday against Louisville... if not the rest of the season to give him some chance at an NFL career. Is finishing undefeated and getting screwed out of a title shot by the BCS really worth mortgaging this kid's future? These are the types of decisions that really show you where a coaches priorities are.... win at all cost or take care of the kids you bring in to your program.
Staying with college football, I was really glad to see my beloved Buckeyes lose to Purdue this past weekend. Hopefully this is their second and final loss of the season, and hopefully another Big Ten team can run the table and get beat down in some BCS bowl against a better, faster and stronger team from a better conference. I don't know what it is, maybe I'm just tired of watching the Buckeyes get run off the field by the LSU's, Florida's and Texases of the world, but I just think I'd rather see them play a mid-level team from one of those conferences than one of the top dogs this December or January. Next topic on the Buckeyes: a job opening. As in, find yourself an acutal quarterback and find a better spot on the field for Terrelle Pryor. The guy can make plays with his legs, but is a nightmare when he throws out of the pocket. I don't know if the wildcat fits the Big Ten, but using Pryor as a package QB and RB/WR the rest of the time seems to make more sense than having him toss picks to one of this year's Big Ten bottom feeders. This is the year that the Sweater Vest is going to have to really earn his money, because if they can't beat Penn State, Iowa AND Michigan, they can kiss any BCS shot goodbye. Might be a good thing for the Bucks to drop one of those games, though (just NOT to Michigan), because maybe then they can win a football game after November.
As for the Patriot fans out there in Gabland... I'd like to say FUCK YOU, TOM BRADY! Six TD passes is amazing, don't get me wrong... just wish he would have waited a week! Killed my fantasy team, and my shot at finally breaking .500. But to do that in the snow and the conditions at Gilette Stadium last Sunday afternoon, despite the fact that after #4 I was too pissed off to watch any more, was amazing to say the least. Bad news for the Pats, they got screwed into going across the pond to play in London this week before their bye week. Yeah, they get the lowly Tampa Bay Bucs, but they also get their schedules and routines all jacked up and risk an upset because of it. Hopefully Brady stays sharp (especially now that he's NOT up against me), and they can avoid being fully screwed over by this little trip.
Speaking of the NFL and long, unnecessary voyages, looks like Michael Crabtree might actually grace the 49ers with his presence this weekend against the Texans. Honestly, I liked this kid coming out of college. Thought he was the most skilled player in the draft last year. But after the idiotic holdout that essentially got him an unpaid three month vacation, I'd love nothing more than to see the kid fall flat on his face. I mean, the whole wide re-diva thing is annoying enough... but to be one without ever even stepping foot on an NFL field? Just makes it that much worse.
Looks like Kobe, LeBron and all the other douchebag NBA stars can breathe a sigh of relief going into the regular season: the old refs are back and should be right back to making outlandish "star calls" by the time of the first tipoff.
With the WIngs only playing .500 hockey and Chris Osgood having a couple bad games under his belt already this year, wonder how long it'll be until all the Osgood haters come out of the woodwork... again... here in Detroit. It happens every season... the guy plays some good games, some bad games, every WIngs fan that calls a sports talk radio station wants the WIngs to trade for a new goalie... but then he starts playing well when it counts, including the playoffs, and suddenly everybody around here wants his enshrined in the Hall of Fame. I just hope this year WIngs fans give him the benefit of the doubt before all I hear for an hour straight on sports stations around here is hater after hater calling in and calling for this guy's job.
Looks like we're headed for a douchebag-filled World Series this year with the Yankees up 3-1 over the Anaheim/LA/wherever the hell they're from this year Angels. Let's just hope the Phillies roid-free roster holds on to their 3-1 lead over Mrs.Ramirez and the Dodgers so there'll be somebody worth rooting for in the Series this year. Hell, if it's Yankees-Dodgers, you can pretty much count the TV at my house OUT for any share of the Nielson ratings for baseball.
Hell, I'd rather watch bowling, golf, even fuckin poker than watch one of these two douchebag towns bring in a World Series trophy. For all their flaws, you can at least say Philly fans are more likeable than anybody in Dodger Blue, and certainly moreso than anybody wearing Yankee Pinstripes. I can only hope that if the Yankee-Dodger series does happen that A-Roid and Mrs.Ramirez go 0-for the series and at least don't tarnish it like they already have baseball's record books.
And now... before I go... I present to you this week's Story I Could Give A Fuck Less About: The Detroit Shock are leaving town and heading to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Damn... now I'll have to find something else NOT to go do on a summer night than head to the Palace with hundreds of other unfortunate fans for some WNBA action. The best thing that can come out of this is maybe getting Bill Laimbeer back broadcasting Pistons games locally. Gotta feel a little sorry for former 1994 NCAA title winning coach Nolan Richardson, the coach of the new Tulsa WNBA franchise... THAT is the best gig you can get? About all I can say to cap this one off it "Don't let the Palace doors hit you on the way out"
That's all for this week, folks. Thanks as always for reading, and for any comments you leave on the way out.

Well, it doesn't take much for netizens like ourselves to start latching onto to a controversy, and this one isn't really any different. In the latest episode in "As The Baseball Turns" Angels fans are up in arms, or overreacting depending on who you ask, over a video that surfaced from last night's game that apparently shows Yankee closer Mariano Rivera spitting on a baseball with his back turned to the plate.
Here is the clip for your own review, with the supposed offense coming at the :05 second mark:
Personally, I look at it from this perspective, which despite being a Red Sox fan, I feel is fairly unbiased. Firstly, despite the fact that he has his back turned to the plate, there are three more umpires in the infield alone that are in a position to see if he's in fact doctoring the baseball. Secondly, the clip cuts oddly, about at the point where any flying spittle would hit the baseball, which could mean that its a spliced video.
Regardless though, MLB is looking into it, as if the video is real, there would be plenty of feed to review the incident off of. What does it mean? Nothing! The Angels won the game anyway. Its just someone digging up something hoping to cause a ruckus or to possibly give their team an edge in the series.

Greetings to all! Irish Shu is staying home today fighting a cold. I've rested as much as I can for now, so here's a blog.
Well, now that the 2009 college season is half-over, I'll take this opportunity to assess how the season has gone thus far for my beloved Fighting Irish of Notre Dame...
The short version?...about like I predicted it was going to go. 2 losses out of the 6 games is not far from what I had predicted, except that I had the second loss down for later in the season than when it happened.
Looking at it game by game:
NEVADA: I was really impressed with the opener! Being that the Wolfpack was bringing one of the strongest running games in the country and an awesome option quarterback in Colin Kaepernick, I thought the Irish D was going to be heavily-tested. The D did allow running back Vai Taua to rip them for 152 yards, including 114 rushing, but shut them down other than that and kept them scoreless. Irish receiver Michael Floyd also had a career day as he torched a weak secondary for 189 yards and 3 scores. I couldn't have asked for a better start for the season!...by the way, for those of you who believe Nevada was a creampuff to start with, look closer at how that team is now doing: they may have gotten-off to a poor start, losing to Missouri and Colorado State after the Irish, but have reeled-off 3 straight wins since then. In fact, they had 3 runners go for nearly 200 yards EACH against UNLV. I still think this team's best games are yet to come and that they could shock Boise State at season's end. We shall see.
MICHIGAN: Obviously, this game was a disappointment as it was a loss. For the most-part, it was well-played up until the final minutes when there was some questionable play-calling (passes instead of runs) that kept stopping the clock and allowed Michigan to pocket a couple time-outs for their final drive. I hate games where the Irish win the battle in all categories such as total yardage, time of possession, first downs, etc., but then lose it when it comes to the most important statistic: the friggin' score! Not to take anything away from the Wolverines, but this definitely should have been an Irish win...it left me feeling we had been out-coached and, unfortunately, I have felt that way several times under the Charlie Weis era. Michigan is not a bad team, though. They did hit a wall and lost to both Michigan State and a solid Iowa team, but have since bounced-back against a hapless Delaware State team. They'll probably go bowling, but as far as how they'll finish in the Big 10, they have 3 currently-ranked league teams left to play that will have something to say about where Michigan ends-up.
MICHIGAN STATE: I certainly felt good about winning at home against Sparty for the first time since 1993!...but this win felt more lucky than good. The bounce-back after the Michigan loss was nice, but if the Spartan's Larry Caper catches that pass from Kirk Cousins when he was wide-open...well, we have a different outcome. Instead, we got an interception from Kyle McCarthy on the next play to seal an Irish win...sometimes, a team has to take what they get! Anyway, Sparty is another team that should go bowling: right now they're at 4-3 and they do have to play Iowa and Penn State yet, but both of those games are at home and the other 3 games they have left are certainly winnable.
PURDUE: Yes I know the Irish were playing without a full deck, having lost Michael Floyd to the broken collarbone, Jimmy Clausen struggling with turf toe and Armando Allen with a sore ankle among other injuries. Yes, I know Purdue came-out inspired and fired-up, even going so far as to don their all-black uniforms for the first time in 3 years because of what the game meant to them....STILL - with all due respect to Purdue, the Irish should have dominated this game. The Offense had to mix it up with Dayne Crist and the "wildcat" offense taking more of the snaps in order to keep Clausen out of the game with his injury, but that was working when they did that. I'll take the win; I'm just puzzled it took more last-second heroics to do so against a team that has only won 2 games all year...although one of those Boilermaker wins WAS a shocker against Ohio State.
WASHINGTON: This game went to overtime before the Irish scored the win, yes, but I wasn't disappointed in the closeness of this one. I knew that Coach Sarkisian REALLY wanted this game for his team so he could prove his win over USC 2 weeks prior was no fluke. I also knew Jake Locker was going to be one of the best quarterbacks The Irish D would face this year, and he did have a pretty good day. The Irish D really showed me something, though, with those goal-line stands and their ability to thwart the Huskies' overtime possession. It was good to see them step it up like that. There was some complaining about officiating in this one regarding the Huskies' Chris Polk being ruled down at the half-yard line instead of getting the touchdown (he WAS down) while Robert Hughes got a 2-point conversion despite the replay showing his knee down at the half-yard line as well (it was, although that replay did NOT show where the ball was when his knee touched), but the questionable calls went BOTH ways here - Kyle Rudolph also caught a touchdown that was called back, and there was the "roughing the snapper" call against Ian Williams (I thought that was bunk) that gave Washington a fresh set of downs, and they STILL couldn't punch-in. I will definitely take the win here. As for the Huskies, they have a good, young team that could go bowling, though it won't be easy as they now sit at 3-4 and still have Oregon, Ore. State and Cal left to play...they do get Oregon and Cal at home, though.
USC: Well, I didn't expect the Irish to win this one...but it's painful that they damn well did win it, anyway. USC pretty-much dominated this one throughout as Matt Barkley, behind an awesome O-line, was able to throw through the Irish pass defense at will. When the game was in the third quarter, it was looking like USC was going to turn this into a rout...but to ND's credit, it didn't. I LOVED seeing them fight back like they did! There was no quit in this team, and they showed me more in this loss than they did in any win since the opener against Nevada. Still, though, it was a loss. There is no moral victory here and Coach Weis still has to deal with the critics' chimes of "STILL no signature win", and "7th straight loss to a top-10 team", and "8th straight loss to USC", and "1-9 against teams that finished ranked since 2007" and-on-and-on-and-on. Charlie had a chance to shake the monkey and quiet the critics and blew it. As for the mighty Trojans? They will take the Pac 10 and get another BCS Bowl, but I don't see them getting into the BCS championship as I have the feeling one more league team is going to snakebite them before they go bowling.
...So, now where do the Irish go from here? My answer is that it is entirely up to them. They have just finished putting a scare into the toughest team they will face the rest of the year. They scored 2 passing touchdowns against one of the strongest defenses in the country: a defense that, in fact, had not allowed a touchdown through the air all year up until this game. The Irish D will also not face a stronger offensive unit the rest of the year until their bowl game, perhaps.
I am concerned that the Irish have Boston College to bounce-back against. BC is coming to South Bend doing surprisingly better than they were expected to at 5-2, and their running back, Montel Harris, is tearing it up. The Eagles also have owned the Irish in recent years....but the game is at home.
Win against Boston College, and I think the Irish bounce-back and finish the year strong. Lose to them, and I think Charlie is well on his way to a buyout of his contract and being handed his walking papers at season's end. I am not yet joining those who have been calling for Weis' head in favor of Urban Meyer (who has already said he wouldn't come to the Irish, anyway), or Brian Kelly, Gary Patterson or anyone else....but lose to Boston College and I probably will be.
I will close this entry with some accolades for the players:
Golden Tate - what can I say? Golden has been the rock in that passing game. He had a case of the dropsy's in the Michigan loss and wasn't too effective against Purdue, but has been SOLID otherwise...244 yards against Washington? Wow. Let's hope he can keep being as productive in the remaining games.
Jimmy Clausen - I don't think much more can be asked of this guy. He's been VERY impressive despite the 2 losses. Overall he is using his head, has greatly improved with making his reads and checking-off, has great touch on his throws, and is keeping the mistakes to a minimum...and all this despite a nagging turf toe. He just needs to keep doing what he's doing while the toe heals and he'll be fine.
Armando Allen Jr. - is the most improved runner the Irish have. One of his own complaints from last year was that he was going-down too easily on first hits. Well, he is showing great second efforts thus far and is harder to bring down than he was last year. His stats aren't too impressive as he has run for 416 yards thus far through 6 games and has registered over 100 rushing yards only twice, but he has had an ankle injury to deal with and it seems he's healed from it. Let's see how he does from here-on.
Robby Parris - has slowly but effectively picked-up the slack for the Irish receiving corps since Michael Floyd's injury. He did well against USC, making 9 catches for 92 yards although he did get drilled hard and injured late in the game, so I hope he recovers well from that. I give him props for this, too; he wore a pink suit jacket before the game and dyed a lock of his hair pink, too, in support of breast cancer awareness. That's big with me, as I currently have a cousin and a good friends' mother BOTH battling the disease. Very noble of you, Robby.
Manti Te'o - when he played against Nevada in the opener, I saw this kid catch a fast quarterback on a scramble from 10 yards behind in nothing-flat, and then he flat-out DRILLED people on a couple other plays. Right then I said, "he's gotta be in there more, and even starting. He's too good to keep out." Well, since then he has worked himself into the starting lineup as a true frosh and for good reason. Te'o is one of the bright spots on an otherwise hole-filled defense on which I feel he has to do a lot of the work himself. While I respect his obligation to his Mormon faith, I truly hope he chooses to keep playing for the Irish after this year rather than leave for his 2-year mission as is the tradition for his faith. Te'o has gotten better and has nowhere to go but UP.
Michael Floyd - we certainly do miss you, Michael, and the over-1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns you've had in your injury-shortened career at Notre Dame...word is you're back in practice and in pads and that you may be coming back to play by the Pitt game. Well, while I admire you for your desire to play and your determination - take my advice, Michael, don't be dumb about this. A broken collarbone is not an easy injury to heal from, so if you have to make a choice between playing again before the healing is 100% complete and waiting until the bowl game, PLEASE wait until the bowl game. Certain things just aren't worth the risk!
Should be an interesting second half of the season. Let's see how it plays out! GO IRISH!!!

NASHVILLE — Nashville police have released new details about the investigation into Steve McNair's murder that show Sahel Kazemi had asked McNair for money and sent text messages about needing to be with him in the few days prior to their deaths on July 4.
The details were released in the middle of a two-part series aired on CBS' Early Show criticizing the police investigation into the murder-suicide, although police officials have been working on a summary report of the investigation for several weeks.
Police ruled the shooting deaths a murder-suicide several days after the bodies were found at a downtown condo off Second Avenue in downtown Nashville. McNair was shot four times, and Kazemi died from a single gunshot to the head. Neither had any defensive wounds, and police believe McNair was asleep.
Investigators concluded that Kazemi, 20, was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women and wasn't going to leave his wife for her.
Metro police spokesman Don Aaron declined to comment on anything contained in the 14-page report. The CBS report stated that Kazemi had more than $2,500 in the bank, contradicting the police explanation that Kazemi was distraught over money and the unraveling relationship. But text messages between the two suggest that $2,000 of that money came from McNair on the evening before his murder.
According to the summary report, Kazemi's former roommate and ex-boyfriend told investigators that Kazemi was fielding calls from bill collectors and struggling to pay the nearly $800 car note and the full $1,000 rent after the roommate moved out.
When Kazemi went with McNair to Las Vegas, friend Emily Andrews told police, she first learned that Kazemi was having financial difficulties.
"Andrews said she and another friend paid Kazemi's expenses because Kazemi had only $32," the report said.
Early in the morning on July 3, she texted McNair saying she might have a breakdown because she's so stressed. He responded, telling her everything was going to be okay.
"Baby I need to pay the cellphone bills n the hospital.can you transfer 2000 to my acc (sic)", the text message said.
Then, nine minutes later, she said she may need to go to the hospital because she can hardly breathe.
A few hours later, she told McNair she wanted to pay some bills before she went to work because they were stressing her out. He assured her he had a guy transferring the money.
Chris Wall, who provided security for McNair's family, told investigators that McNair had gotten increasingly annoyed with his relationship with Kazemi. She often called him when he was with his wife and children, according to Wall, and he was getting tired of it. He had slowed down the relationship and was seeing her less often, Wall said.
A Nashville woman named Leah Ignagni also told police she had been dating McNair and, in the weeks before his death, she had left the Lea Avenue condo and was followed home by a woman in a black Escalade.
Ignagni, who is listed on her LinkedIn profile as the senior editor of a start-up magazine called 61Five, also told police she saw the same Escalade parked outside her apartment building and circling the block on a couple other occasions.
On the night after Kazemi was arrested on a DUI charge and McNair bailed her out of jail, he went to Ignagni's apartment and spent the night.
Below is the content of text message records police subpoenaed from McNair's cellphone carrier. The following texts were received by McNair's phone on July 3. Interviews with friends of McNair's confirmed that he was actually out at several Nashville bars in the evening hours during this conversation.
Kazemi, 4:04 p.m.: Baby I have to be w u 2nite. I dnt care where
Kazemi, 4:16 p.m.Tell me u gonna be w me
Kazemi, 8:34 p.m.: baby where u gonna be at when I get off
McNair, 8:50 p.m.: I'm at home baby what time u get off
Kazemi, 8:51 p.m.: round 11
Kazemi, 9:10 p.m.: where u gonna be at baby
McNair, 9:15 p.m.: at home til the kids fall asleep
Kazemi, 9:18 p.m.: k ill call when I get off
Kazemi, 10:23 p.m.: do u wanna get out n drink
McNair, 10:35 p.m.: Probably not baby having trouble with the kids getting to sleep
Kazemi, 10:45 p.m.: k im going to the condo in a min
McNair, 10:59 p.m.: ok
Kazemi, 11:28 p.m.: they asleep babe
McNair, 11:34 p.m.: they are on the way
McNair, 12:38 a.m.: On my way
Kazemi, 12:38 a.m.: k
Kazemi, 12:48 a.m.: u want me to open the gate
McNair, 12:52 a.m. (sent twice): No open the front door
Kazemi, 1:14 a.m.: its open
Kazemi, 2:23 a.m.: im going to the store*
Investigators say the last text message appears out of sequence, and it was received by McNair's phone at 2:23 a.m. but on Kazemi's phone, there was no time stamp on the message.

Tuesday and off to Londontown.
first off,
I am drinking coffee...not tea.
and secondly, don't call me a Yank!
Damn Brits think we're all Yanks....
insulting bloody idiots!
Inspired by Felber, todays music is by Warren Zevon:
Werewolves of London
I wonder If we can find Trader Dicks!
After nipping the Titan/Oilers 59-zip......
The N E Patriots head to Wembley Stadium in beautiful London
( that's England not Onterio) the Stadium is known locally as the
"Venue of Legends"
The Pats are the visiting team, visiting those Blokeneers from Tampa Bay,
which I believe is a quant village in East Anglia on the North Sea, not on the English Channel as some Yanks have been reporting.
Over across the pond the game is called American Football....not to be confused with Europian Futbol.....believe me you can be bloody sure, there is no confusing the two.
Now, get to know Wembley Stadium:
http://www.wembleystadium.com/StadiumHistory/historyIntroduction/
originally know as The Wembley Park and Leisure Grounds in 1880
it was home of football.
in the early 1900s it had become an 18 hole golf course of 219 acres.
let's see...Golf or Soccer? these Limeys are idiots.
Architects John Simpson and Maxwell Ayerton along with engineer Sir Owen Williams took just 300 days to construct The Empire Stadium at a cost of 750,000 pounds opening in 1924. The Empire Stadium was closed in 2000.
and demolished to make spot for the........
The new Wembley Stadium, It is a state of the art 86,000 seat facility
for football, and 105,000 for music events.
Construction started in 2003 and was finished for the grand opening in 2007 at the cost of 800,000,000 pounds by Foster and Partners of London.
In 2007 the NFL sent the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins to Wembley for what the NFL hoped was the begining of international acceptence of American style Football. The field sod was a mess, slippery and soggy and the Giants won 13-10.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft is a strong supporter of the International exposure of NFL Football and even initially accepted an invite to play a game in China. This venture was later dropped due to security fears.
Head Coach of the Patriots, Bill Belichick said he would go wherever the league and his boss, Mr Kraft, send he and his team.
When visiting in England you should get to know the language:http://www.effingpot.com/slang.shtml
You Gab's Oldharry, being a world traveler and internationally known and respected member of the underground media, rangled a brief, candid and "off the record" interview with the HC of the NEP's.
Exclusive to YouGab, not to be reproduced with out licence.
OH- hey Coach, welcome to jolly old England.
HC- thanks Harry, good to see you're still at this.
OH- no quit in the aged one coach. and speaking of age, how is Junior doing?
HC- Doing well, doing well, he knows the system and is in great shape.
OH- so Coach are you taking in Big Ben, Buckingham, the changing of the guard and the like?
HC- you know Harry, as for big Ben, I can't talk about a player on another roster....not on our team you know.
and the Buckinghams are well coached, good on offense, solid on defense, they compete on special teams, their fast and physical.....and changing the guards? no I thinK Mankins and Steven Neal are doing a good job at the guard positions and we have no plans on changing things that work.
OH- yeah, ok umm, ok coach, have you been able to practice here in London? have they let you use the facilities?
HC- the facilities are a little different here in England...we are used to individual urinals and here they just piss on the floor and it runs to a center drain in the room, being in the front row means a wet backside if it's crouded...I just hold it till I get back to the hotel.
OH-A couple of years back the Giants and Dolphins played a game in Wembley and the Giants went on from that 13-10 win with a suscessful season and won the SB. Do you see a win here as a possible launching pad to another Championship for your team?
HC- come on man, don't be an ass Harry! you know that what happened in past seasons has nothing to do with this team and this game...all we are thinking about is the Buccaneers on Sunday, were just practicing for the Buccaneers and that's it. We need to do better on offense and defense and special teams, we need to coach better and execute better, just do our jobs better.
OH- well what are you doing now coach?
HC- well....nothing right now, I looked at film and had a meeting with the players and coaches and gave everyone the evening off.....do you have a plan Harry?
OH-I'm glad you asked coach, me and some of the possie are planning on getting knackered on a serious pub crawl, care to join us?
HC- ok Harry, sounds good, you buying?
Oh- I've got a few quid so let's get on the piss and get bladdered coach.
but my Brit friends said to watch out for and don't chat up some Dishy with dusty dragons......could be a nancyboy on the camp...........
HC- I'll watch my steps....
OH- Hey coach, this place looks good, Trader Dicks is what they call it.
HC- works for me. You know it is what it is.......Lets sit at that roundtable in the corner. A round of pints please.....
OH- Wow! hey coach, what do you think of the waitress over there?
HC- well harry, I've been watching... she's quick and athletic, knows her routes and is well coached...has great technique....they all seem to have come out of a good system....they just do their job.
the rest of my memory of the evening seems to be a bit foggy.....not really sure of much, we still have a few days before game time......
and that's it from correspondent Oldharry on the prowl in Londontown
comments welcome...do so quietly, my head hurts.
