Roberto Luongo Is An Overrated C*nt

Tags: NHL Tim Thomas Boston Bruins Vancouver Canucks Roberto Luongo Stanley Cup Finals

Yeah I said it...And if you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed me tweeting that few times...I have made a habit of tweeting throughout the Stanley Cup Finals...And Luongo, and Burrows have taken most of my hate...And now it will continue...

After game 5 Luongo decided to criticize Boston goalie Tim Thomas, and how he plays...mainly talking about the game winning goal Thomas gave up in game 5...Here's what he said...

"It's not hard if you're playing in the paint. It's an easy save for me, but if you're wandering out and aggressive like he does, that's going to happen. He might make some saves that I won't, but in a case like that, we want to take advantage of a bounce like that and make sure we're in a good position to bury those."

okay, not too bad...But the guy who gave up 8 goals in game 3 may want to shut his mouth...Just for the record, Thomas has given up 6 goals in 5 games...Only 6 goals from the 171 shots he has faced...In those same 5 games Luongo faced 155 shots and has given up 14 goals, and was yanked and put on the bench during the third period of game 4...So again, Luongo may want to shut the fuck up...

Then after getting a bit of heat for running his mouth, this dolt Luongo opened it again, saying, "I said he might make some saves that I don't. I was just saying, on that particular play, I would have played it different. That's the difference between me and him. I have been pumping his tires ever since the series started. I haven't heard one nice thing he had to say about me. That's the way it is."

Umm, why would Thomas have to say nice about Luongo, you overrated cunt!?! By the way, it's not that Thomas hasn't said anything nice about you...He hasn't said anything about you...That's the difference, he doesn't talk about the guy at the other end...He just goes out there and plays his game...And guess what? Thomas isn't an overrated cunt! Luong is...I'll Take Tim Thomas any day before an overrated cunt!

Boston Bruins Have the Momentum Now

Tags: Boston Bruins Vancouver Canucks

It’s pretty clear now that the two losses the Boston Bruins suffered in Vancouver, which weren’t even close to blowouts were merely a time to get familiar with a team they played only once during the regular season. They appear to be pretty quick learners because they dished out two beatings on the President Trophy winning Canucks outscoring them to the tune of 12-1 including last night’s 4-0 shutout. It’s been bothering me hearing, “”what’s wrong with the Canucks”? Is it possible there’s nothing wrong with them and they’ve been outplayed, outscored, man handled, throttled and not used to this type of physical play? I think so. If you’re not a hockey fan you might think it’s just a matter of home ice, but that’s not the case. Last night Vancouver clearly showed how soft they really are. At the end of the game when things got really chippy the whistle blew and Adam McQuaid found himself with helmet and gloves off and ready to go, only problem was one Canuck fell to the ice and covered his head, turtling like I’ve never seen before, the other hung around the referee begging for protection, or so it seemed. If you’re a Canuck fan you had to be embarrassed, I would be. This team has shown no heart, no grit and no desire to win. They also have put on some of the worst acting jobs I’ve ever seen when trying to get penalties called on Boston. Last night I counted 4 times where Canuck players winced, grabbed a body part or fell to the ice acting like they were boarded or tripped, and they’ve been doing this the whole series. I truly believe if this team were to play in the eastern conference they’d all be hospitalized for trauma for all they seem to go through. I won’t even talk about the constant whining and crying this team displays, it’s a joke.

For Vancouver’s Roberto Luongo, he got tuned up for 8 goals in game three, refused to come out of the net after the score hit 5-1, last night he gave up 4 more and got the yank and Corey Schneider the former BC standout was put in and didn’t give up a point. Rumor has it Luongo will be in net on Friday night in Vancouver. Will home ice for the Canucks be enough for them to come out of this funk some say they’re in? My opinion is no. Boston has gotten into Luongo’s head and like Carey Price of the Montreal Canadian’s the pressure now is to go in front of the home crowd and stop Boston from getting a 3 game to 2 lead in a series that not a week ago had Vancouver up 2-0. There’s a lot of pressure put on Canadian teams to deliver and deliver big, and when it comes to a team like the lowly Bruins it’s even more so, their pride is on the line and it’s a lot for a player to have to deal with and Luongo has demonstrated in these playoffs that the closer they are to a finish the more he fails to come up big. In the first round the Canucks played the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks who entered the playoffs as the 8thseed, they were down 3-0 and forced a game seven as Luongo fell apart. If you’re on the ice for Vancouver you have to start to wonder will he be able to come up big when they need him too and it’s frustrating when a team is put in this position because they find themselves cheating more defensively to help aid a struggling goalie, they lose that confidence in him and now it frees up loads of room for an opponent, particularly one like Boston who plays physical and who has some very fast forwards to be able to keep play in the offensive zone. You can’t be worrying about defense and expect to score goals in a series like this.

With Tim Thomas playing lights out goaltending, not to mention he's not taking any shit from the Canucks forwards, having knocked Henrik Sedin on his ass the other night and then taking it to Burrows last night for slashing the stick out of his hands, the Bruins are firing on all cylinders, the defense has been smothering and they've got the Canucks chasing them all over the ice. Vancouver wasn't able to even setup in the offensive zone on the power play, at even strength they barely got to half ice before being met by 3 Bruin defenders who would break up the play and move towards Luongo for another shot.

The momentum has shifted to Boston and both teams have to make the flight 3,000 miles back to Vancouver, but one team is riding high, the other is wondering how to get back into playoff form and do so in less than 48 hours, this is no easy task. I’m expecting Boston to bring just as physical a game to Vancouver as they played in Boston and if they steal game 5 in Vancouver, this series is over on Monday night in Boston!

Getting to this later than I wanted to...After bumping uglies with the wife last night, all I had left in the tank was to watch the end of "Chopped" and crash...But of course the baby woke up and wanted to play, so then I was up for a couple more hours...Today was filled with taking care of the baby, being lazy, picking the other two kids up from their last day of school, and making dinner and food for my wife's office, for some dumb-ass party tomorrow...

So here I am, ready to break out the hits...

First, I have to say that one highlight from today, was seeing Opie and Anthony tweeting the picture of Anthony Weiner's fully erect, and shaved, junk to every and all media outlet after they swiped a shot of it from Andrew Breitbart...What a dope Weiner is!

Now before I get into sports, I have to give the media some shit...And maybe all of us, including myself...As I laugh about Weiner and his cock, and I look at the stats that my BLOG from Monday night about Weiner and Palin, and see it has gotten close to 300 views in two days...While I'm happy people are reading my shit, I wonder, shouldn't the media be pushing some more important stories?

How about the fact that it has finally been released that 3 of the 4 reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power Plant in Japan, completely melted down...Just like Roberto Luongo is doing right now against the Bruins...Seriously, that is Chernobyl times 3! Maybe this should be brought up just a bit...Trim a couple minutes off the cock story, and tell people that Japan is becoming a major nuclear hazard...

But whatever, onto sports...So Terrelle Pryor is breaking his promise to Jim Tressel and running away from Ohio State...Okay, driving away in one of his 8 cars...

This happened right before news broke that Pryor, not only got whatever cars he wanted...Not only traded memorabilia for tattoos...Not only sold awards...But also was paid for signing memorabilia...As more comes out, it is really looking like "The" Ohio State University needs the "Death Penalty"...

Remember when Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State, were all in a bidding....I mean recruiting war, for Pryor...I bet Michigan and Penn State are happy that they lost! Besides Pryor's illegal (By NCAA standards) activities, he just was all he was hyped up to be...So much talk about him coming out of High School...Even more hype the first couple years of college, and to be honest, he wasn't that great...He made some nice plays, but a lot of guys can look good against MAC schools, and a number of weak Big-Ten teams...I hope he saved some money, cause I don't see him making much in the NFL...

Hey, did you see Ohio State is getting new stickers for their helmets?

So this week I'm being lazy...Since The Bruins just took two from Vancouver, in a couple of physical blowouts, we go to the Bruins Ice Girls...On this Hump Day evening, which of these lovely Bruins Ice Girls would like to give a slap shot to?

Left? Right? or Center?

Nice cans, but fuck Burrows bitch!

If you don't know what she and I are talking about, look below...

Yes, Canucks douchebag, Alexander Burrows, bit the finger of Patrice Bergeron in game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals...So what happened? The pussies running the NHL did nothing about it...Burrows went on to score two goals in game 2, helping his team to a 2-0 series lead...The Big Wigs in the NHL have a knack for being inconsistent when it comes to punishment...If this would have been Sean Avery, he would have been suspended for the rest of the series, fined, and new rules would have been written saying his mouth can't be open within 2 feet of another player...

Remember when they wrote the "Avery Rule" two days after this happened...

But enough of that...The biggest reason the Bruins are down 2-0 is their defensemen get caught pinching in too often...Goalie Tim Thomas gets too aggressive and over compensates for his defensemen, especially when they are down, or in OT, and then gets out of position because of it...He needs to rein it in...

In other Hockey news...Wednesday I wrote about the sale of the Atlanta Thrashers, and their move to Winnipeg...And before that I wrote about the shitty, non-supportive fans in Atlanta...So I was thrilled to see this weekend, that Winnipeg sold out their 13,000 Season Ticket plans in 17 minutes...Hey Atlanta, eat a dick! Hey Gary Bettman, fuck you for doubting the people of Winnipeg...You can choke on a load too!

Next up...Did you hear about USA_SOCCER?

To Baseball...The topic of Buster Posey getting injured in a collision at home plate, just won't die...I've read too many blogs about it...Commented too many times...Heard too many talking heads chime in on it...Well here is my last statement on it...HOPEFULLY...

Scott Cousins made a hard-nosed Baseball play, that players are taught to do...Posey, as a catcher knows the risks of playing the position...It's not Cousins' fault that Posey's stupid spike got stuck in the ground...It's Baseball, and while it's not as physical/violent as Football or Hockey, there are still aggressive, physical, contact plays in it...It was a clean play...

And.....Fuck you San Fransisco Giants Fans...After one of your own was beaten nearly to death by asshole Dodger fans, you fucking cocksuckers turn around and make death threats to Cousins...Fuck you fucking fucks!

On to more asshole fans...A group of Ohio State/Jim Tressel fans, showed up at his house, and did cheers and sang songs, showing their love and support for this cheating ass-hat...Tressel responded by coming out, and guaranteeing a victory over Michigan this year...For_Real!

What an asshole!

Ahhh, shit...Once again the baby is awake...She has been making a habit out of waking up sometime between 11 PM and 1 AM, and staying up for a couple hours...Wanting to play or just hang out with Dad...Maybe she just wanted to get her cute face in another blog...

I was going to writ a bit about what a cunt Paris Hilton was this past week on the O & A show...She then threw a hissy fit after being on the View...But maybe I'll save that one just for itself tomorrow...Instead we'll end with Kate Upton, dancing and being hot...

I swear to God I heard her say she wants to fuck The Beeze!

Have a week...

Later, The Beeze.

It's A Marathon Finish to the Stanley Cup Finals

So, here we go. Hotchnuts and Chocolate Silk are in Winnipeg once again. This time, it's not to cover the impending sale of the Thrashers and potential relocation, but instead Silk and I are participating in the Winnipeg Air Force Marathon.

So, this past weekend Hotchnuts ran the 10 mile road race. The previous weekend, Hotchnuts was in Toronto running a half marathon. So that explains my absences around here.

So, Silk and I booked ourselves a room at the 'Pegs premier hotel, the Fort Garry. Let's just say that the valet parkers and hotel staff have not been impressed with my performance so far.  An example...Silk and I went to the breakfast buffet hung over as fuck in our Fort Garry hotel bathrobes and flip flops.  Hey, Friday was the night to light it up before I rest up for Sundays event.

So, as a result, hotchnuts was in dire need on the drive to the 'Peg on Friday evening. Driving through the cell phone signal-less northwestern Ontario was a challenge, especially since the biggest game for Boston in recent memory was being played.  By the way, I still say FUCK YOU PETR KLIMA! I eventually picked up a signal as I was pulling into Dryden, right by the "home of Chris Pronger" billboard. I should have pulled over, hit it with an elbow and lit that shit on fire.

Being a realist, I'm not liking Boston's chances against Vancouver.  Boston has not had to face a team with as much offensive power as Vancouver, and let's not forget about how solid Vancouver is on their back end.  Boston has a solid d-core, but they haven't met a team as solid defensively as Vancouver yet. Montreal and Tampa were defensive battles for the most part, with a redemption series against Philly stuck in the middle. Philly was a team of walking wounded and was basically a playoff stat padder for the Bruins.

Vancouver, after a little stutterstep in their opening round against Chicago, they strolled through Nashville and San Jose. With Luongo on his game and a strong d-core, you have to like Vancouver's chances. However, with that being said, Vancouver hasn't played a team as physical as Boston. With both teams rolling 4 solid lines, this one may be too hard to pick.

And let's get this into perspective; I don't subscribe to the train of thought that "maybe the Cup will come back to Canada" bullshit. The Cup is back in Canada every summer since the majority of each team is Canadian.  Bottom line, this is going to be a great series and there is not going to be a shortage of action.

A donnyborook to go between Hortoan and

Thanks for stopping by.
