So Fox is launching their own Sports Network...Why not? NBC Sports and CBS Sports are out there still losing to ESPN, along with the NFL and MLB Networks...What's one more sports network with limited programming?

Well Fox is gonna sell theirs differently...They're selling it the old fashioned way...With tits and ass...

I'm not looking forward to them throwing it to Donovan McNabb for his bullshit analysis, but I may stop by to check them out...They'd have me watching all the time if they set aside a couple hours a day of these two donut-bumping!

And for the record, Charissa Thompson is totally hotter the Erin Andrews!

-At Michigan State, they had a little fun with the football players...Nothing like seeing some so called tough guys get the shit scared out of them...

-Famous Red Sox announcer, and former player, Jerry Remy's son has found himself in trouble again...

This time, the crime is a lot more serious then selling steroids...Jared Remy had just been in court over domestic assault charges and was released on "personal recognizance"...So what does he do? He stabs Jennifer Martel, the woman he is accused of assaulting, to death...While her daughter is in the house...Dude was already a 'roid raging dealer...Then he was a woman beater...Now he's a murderer...How quickly one can go from a piece of shit, to a big steaming pile of shit...Love Jerry Remy, but I hope Jared burns in hell!

-Many times I have written about how China sucks, and how much I hate them...Well, let the hate continue for these assholes...Checkout their LION!

That's it...It's Friday people...Who wants Fish Tacos!?!

Have a good weekend!

Since the passing of our friend Jud, I've been struggling with how open this post, and what to put in it...I think 3rd would want me to do my thing, so let's do it right...

"When all these walls come down, they'll shake us...
We fight not to be, not to be weightless...
When all these stars hit ground, they'll wake us...
We fight not be, not to be weightless..."

Since I learned of Jud's passing, I've been feeling like many of my fellow bloggers...We all feel a great sense of loss, even though I have never sat in a bar and had a beer with him...It seems kind of odd to be so moved by the death of some one you know only from blogging, twitter, and facebook...But the fact of the matter is, I feel closer to many of my Internet friends, then I do with people I see every day of my life...There is a common bond that we have, and that has created the connection we have...

3rdStone's wall came down, and it shook some of us...His star hit ground, and it woke some of us up...Now we're trying not to be weightless...

I learned a lot from 3rd...Tons about Football and NFL greats...I also learned a lot about writing, and networking...And this past week I also learned, I need to set up a place in my Will, so some one can contact my Internet friends, and fellow bloggers when I die...Sad, but true, this is the age we are living in...

Like I said, I think Jud would like it if I got back on track, and did my thing...So, last week I saw a story that set me off, and I'm sure the post I wrote about it, didn't earn me anymore fans in China...The parents in THIS story gotta be up for Tool Of The Week!

Then there was the 9 year old hockey player that set things off after his 200 goal...Check THIS shit out...Read the comments too...Relentless fuckers on that site!

Now most people on Barstool are all in with their side of it...Some of my friends think the coach went overboard...Listen, what's overboard is a 9 year old knowing he was going to score his 200th goal...How does he know that...Either he's an asshole already at 9, or his parents are keeping track, and let him know...If they're keeping track, fuck them! How is a kid lighting the lamp 200 times in Pee-Wee...That's crazy fucking Gretzky shit...Is he playing in a league of 7 year olds...Are the goalies blind...WTF!?!

The coach was trying to teach the kids a lesson, and then mom goes crazy, screaming child abuse, and wants everyone to pay up...I'm putting the blame on the parents...The kid, well I'm sure this shit was put in his head...The coach does seem to have some dick-head in him, but shit, dealing with twat-bag parents is a son of a bitch!

-The New York Rangers were in Philly Saturday, and pounded the Flyers, on the scoreboard, and on the ice...The Rangers own the Flyers this year...And Philly if you keep running that Sestito meat head out there, he's gonna end up lying in a puddle of his own, blood and piss...Kid keeps running his mouth, and wanting to drop the gloves, but he's got no game to back it up, and he's an average fighter...Just a big mouth, dolt...

But the other news from that game was, Columbus Bluejackets GM Scott Howson, and a couple scouts were at the game...There has been a lot of talk about the Jackets moving Rick Nash to the Rangers...But the price may be too high...And then there is the cap space to worry about since Nash is under contract until 2018, for more than $7 million a year...

There is also talk of moving Jeff Carter...It's his first year in Columbus after they traded fro him last year...He's underachieved, and has spent more time on the IR then he has on the ice...Carter would be cheaper, but also a bigger risk, since he can't stay healthy, and can't seem to find a team that wants to ever keep him...

So this was me trying to do my thing, and write a bit about sports and shit...Like I said, I know that's what 3rd would tell me to do...But I'll close with a little more love for our friend...One of the things I always liked about Jud, was his musical taste...He if you go to his BLOGSPOT_PAGE, you'll here Hendrix's 3rd Stone From the Sun kick in...Scroll down to the bottom and look at his play list...An amazing variety...And he was always open about how much he liked A Flock of Seagulls...So Jud, this one is for you...

Have a week...

Tags: The Beeze Little Beeze Rosie Jones Versus NHL NFL Winter Classic Cleveland Browns RG3 Ugly Dolls New Years Fuck China Henrik Lunqvist

Yep, Time to break out that 2012 Rosie Jones Calendar!

It's 2012 and where the fuck is my Jetson's flying car!?! I guess we haven't advanced as much as people thought we would...Now before I wave goodbye to 2011, I just want to say this...New Year's Eve, on Twitter and Facebook, lots of people were shitting on 2011, and wishing it away...Hey, I get it, people have good years, and bad years...The Browns more bad than good...But every year has highs and lows...We all tend to remember the bad, hell, I made my blogging name on the bad! Thanks Sandusky and Penn State for that week of hate filled blogs...Oh, and China, for my post FUCK_CHINA which was my highest drawing post of the year, and my in-traffic from South-East Asian has really shot up! THIS post has done well too, with 2,545 views...I wonder why?

But there was plenty of good too...Bin Laden is dead right! And this is cute as hell right?

Look at me starting off 2012 trying to be positive...Ha! Then I watched the Browns game! Yeah, they lost to the Steelers...They kept it close, but couldn't pull it out...But at this point, why win...Keep yourself in line for a good draft pick...No, I'm not getting into who the Browns should draft..Lots of Cleveland fans and talking heads were all over the Browns drafting RG3 after Baylor's bowl shootout with Washington...

Thing is, these dummies don't even realize that wasn't even close to his best game...And then there are the guys that were knocking him, while basically saying they had only seen a couple of his games...I've been paying attention to the kid for 3 years...He can make all the throws...He's smart, and yes he can run...But if you watch enough, you'll see he uses his speed and athleticism to extend plays and look down field more...Unlike Vick when he was in college, when he looked at the primary target, and then just ran...Kid is solid...

But if the Browns draft him, they better get a couple WR's and O-linemen for him, or else he'll end up getting Tim Couched, just like Colt McCoy and other who came before him...The Browns might be better off going after free-agent Matt Flynn, who passed for, what, a thousand yards Sunday against the Lions, while Aaron Rogers chilled on the bench...The Browns have lots of holes to fill, before they throw another rookie QB out there to get killed!

Monday is one of the NHL's big-time events...The Winter Classic...They backed down to the big boys and moved from New Year's Day, so not to compete with the NFL...Smart I guess, but since I have to work Monday, I'm not real happy about the game being Monday afternoon...DVR is set! But if you have the time, check it out...It's a great rivalry between the Rangers and Flyers, and the whole vibe of playing out doors is great...

Here's Ranger's goalie Henrik Lundqvist practicing Sunday...

Here's his backup Martin Biron, looking drunk, but styling with the old-school brown pads!

If you have Versus, it's switching Monday to NBC Sports, and they are going all-in on Hockey...Monday evening they'll be showing a documentary on the Summit Series...When Canadian All-Star (NHLers included) faced the Soviet Union in an 8 game series....NBC Sports also is getting into College Hockey...They launched there coverage Saturday night with Notre Dame beating Boston University, followed by a documentary on ND's Hockey program...A network tied into ND and Hockey...I like it!

Before I go, I wanted to put in a video of the Little Beeze...For Christmas, he wanted a bunch of "Ugly Dolls"...He saw them on YouTube and got hooked...He got some, and he's been making videos with them on his iPod Touch...Kid cracks me up...Sunday we put some of his Christmas money, and a Toys-R-Us gift card to use, and he got some more...So what are "Ugly Dolls"? Here ya go!

That's it for now...Have a week...

Alright, before we get to my weekend, which wasn't the best...Let's recap last week...In case you missed my blogs through the week, well I guess I should have expected the weekend to go bad too...It started Tuesday with my rage for what happened in CHINA ...

Then I had my view on this PINK trend...Then I gave my State of the BROWNS address, a day before the walrus Mike Holmgren did...And then there was this whole shooting wild animals THING ...

Then there was the weekend...The Fighting Irish Hockey team opened the new Compton Family Ice Arena...

There's Lefty Smith dropping the first puck...The Irish opened their new home in style, beating RPI 5-2, lead by sophomore Anders Lee's hat-trick! The arena is a beautiful, top-notch facility, that is just going to improve Notre Dame's recruiting ability...The Irish Hockey program has been on the rise for the last 5 years, and this will take them to the next level, which is good since they'll be joining the Hockey_East Conference in the 2013 season...

But that wasn't all going at the Notre Dame campus...The place was all fired up...It was USC week, with a big, prime-time game Saturday night...Here's a bad video of the Midnight Drum Circle...It's amazing how much energy a campus can have before a big game...

That night, I found out my wife's uncle passed away, so that brought the mood down to the dumper...

Saturday afternoon 2U was playing before the game...The best U2 tribute band around! Again, the energy was amazing...

Then the game started...Now, Notre Dame had two weeks to get ready for this...And over the last week, most of what I read about was stupid shit...Like how the helmets were painted extra gold, to look more like the Golden Dome itself...

And how Coach Kelly wanted the crowd to be pumped, and keep the team pumped...They were going to hand out towels to wave, and blast music...Yeah, it's the students fault your team is obsessed with turning the ball over! (sense my mood swing yet)

Hey Coach, blasting "Crazy Train" every single, fucking, third down play, isn't going to help your defense get the stop...Clearly, since every time I heard "Crazy Train" USC would convert for a first down...As a matter of fact, it was fucking annoying!

The Irish lost 31-17, but it wasn't even that close...Freshman George Atkinson's kickoff return for a TD was the Notre Dame highlight...It was what we all hoped would spark the team, but USC would have none of it...Their O-Line over-powered the Irish front seven, all night...And then there were the turnover, again...The 80 yard fumble return for a TD was the kill shot...It was just ugly...All that energy, and excitement, just shot to hell...

Luckily, I got to watch the exciting ending of the Michigan State/Wisconsin game...Nothing like a game ending Hail Mary...

WOW!

Sunday, I watched the Browns win an epic battle with the Seahawks, 6-3...This may have been one of the ugliest games ever...People say, "A win is a win"...This didn't feel like a win...Luckily, I was distracted taking care of the Little Beeze and the baby on my own...She's got a bug, and the highlight was when she crapping her brains out, she started coughing, choked on the phlegm, and puke her guts out all over...Baby shit, and puke everywhere...

Why was I flying solo...The Mrs. took our oldest to the Train Concert in Erie, PA...I'll take baby puke and shit any day over Train and their 3rd grader rhyme schemes!

That's it for now...

Later, The Beeze.

Eli better than Brady?? Miami returning to its normal self?? NFL sticking it to Pryor?? Did Vice President Biden start a fight?? Wow, ScottJax77 mentions the Vice President in this weeks edition of Rants and Raves.

Former Baltimore Oriole and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, Mike Flanagan was found died outside his home yesterday. The lefty played 18 seasons, and was 167-143 with a 3.90 era over an 18 year career. He was a world series winner on the 1983 Oriole’s team and also won a Cy Young in 1979. From 1977 through 1983, he made more starts (223) than any pitcher in the American League and was third in wins (109) during that span.

What was Eli Manning thinking???? He’s better than Tom Brady?? What drugs is Manning taking??? Eli was a guest on the “Michael Kay Show” on ESPN New York when he was asked if he was in the same class as Tom Brady. This was Manning’s reply:

"I consider myself in that class," said Manning, the MVP of Super Bowl XLII. "Tom Brady is a great quarterback, he's a great player and what you've seen with him is he's gotten better every year. He started off winning championships and I think he's a better quarterback now than what he was, in all honesty, when he was winning those championships. "I think now he's grown up and gotten better every year and that's what I'm trying to do. I kind of hope these next seven years of my quarterback days are my best."

He also mentioned that the Giants have an offense that puts him in a good situation. Their physical run game opens the play-action, a facet of the game that he performs well in.

Only time will tell, but the clock is ticking and he has a long, long way to catch the 3-time Super Bowl Champion quarterback.

Let’s get ready to rumble? Wait they did. Georgetown Hoya’s Men’s Basketball Team and a Chinese professional team named Bayi Rockets had a major clash. It all stemmed from a very physical game in which Baiyi had 57 free throws to Georgetowns 15.

Here is a clip of the brawl from someone in the stands:

"Tonight, two great teams played a very competitive game that unfortunately ended after heated exchanges with both teams,'' Thompson said in a statement. "We sincerely regret that this situation occurred. We remain grateful for the opportunity our student-athletes are having to engage in a sport they love here in China, while strengthening their understanding of a nation we respect and admire at Georgetown University.''

It was reported that the game had been tense from the beginning and was stopped earlier after two players exchanged words. At one point, a Rockets player even berated Thompson after the Hoyas' coach yelled at his team.

Here is an account posted on a GT message board:

So, tonight's game...we started out behind and were having trouble moving the ball around. The PLA team's big men actually matched up with us pretty well and they played solid defense early on. We were quickly in foul trouble and they moved to the line pretty often, although it wasn't that notable at the time. Then in the second quarter we made a nice run, started hitting open shots, and played really nice defense and forced some turnovers- truly fun to watch and gives us some hope for the regular season. I believe we were down 5 at the end of the first, and then we built a 6-point lead.

Then things got really lopsided on the officiating front in the second quarter. They were in the bonus (five fouls) in the first two minutes of the quarter. The fouls continued- I think we had about 12-14 in the second quarter alone, if I had to guess without seeing a stat sheet (which I doubt will be published). On a couple of plays there was a bit of shoving under the basket, but it calmed down fairly quickly, JT3 clearly called the team over and probably said something along the lines that the officiating was ridiculous, but it didn't matter and everyone needed to stay cool. Then JT3 became more active in pushing the refs for some calls on our end (we were getting mauled, and the PLA team was getting a call basically every time down the court). Despite all of this, we finished the half up 4 or 5- we were shooting really well.

The whole thing came undone in the third. About two minutes in, the ridiculously lopsided foul calls continued (we were in the bonus again 2 1/2 minutes in) and the first real shoving match kicked off over a loose ball. The players on the court separated each other pretty quickly, but then the craziest thing I've ever seen happened- one of the Bayi big men got in JT3's face and almost took a swing. He was so shocked he didn't know what to do. So that upped the ante a bit.

Then the foul calls truly took on a comical dimension. We supposedly fouled them every time down the court, despite some really good defense on some possessions. There were four or five intentional fouls called, giving them four shots each time down the court. JT3 was called for a technical for stepping over the line onto the court. I counted Bayi scoring two field goals in the entire third quarter. I don't know what the count was, but I would not be surprised if they shot 45-50 FTs through three quarters, and we shot 6-10. I honestly think the foul count was likely in the range of 30 or 35 to 5-7. A few exchanges got testy and at one point players had to restrain themselves again. I started joking with some Chinese people in the crowd, who to their credit similarly thought it was a bit ridiculous but were mainly upset that the game had no flow. At the end of the third, despite all of this, we were tied or up two points or so.

Two minutes into the fourth, they were pressing full court, trapped one of our guards (I forget who it was), and then must have pushed or punched him on the ground after he made the outlet pass, because then there was a shoving match and then a bit of a fight, and then the whole thing set off. He tried to get away as quickly as possible as the Chinese players sort of converged on him, and then benches cleared, and then people on the Chinese bench started picking up chairs. Everyone on the other side of the court started fighting as well. Brawl spread all over the court, and then off the court. After it kicked off it immediately became possible for the crowd to get involved, and then they did. As we tried to get the team off the court, bottles (plastic ones, thankfully) came out of the crowd at the team and everyone left. Security was there (sort of), but it was more equivalent to mall cop-quality security rather than actual security. The Georgetown staff wanted the security to get on the floor, but honestly these guys didn't have a clue what to do. They escorted the whole alumni contingent out fairly quickly after that. Game over, 64-64 (following another intentional foul).

I don't know how much news this will make, but even given my admittedly partisan view of how this played out, this was really not our fault. The refs completely failed to control the game, and these things happen when they can continue to maul us underneath with no consequences. The coaching staff called the whole team over at several times during the game and calmed everyone down. We didn't throw any punches and players and coaches were generally just laughing at the absurdity of the officiating at times. Anyway, not exactly what I was expecting to see tonight...

Wow, great discription.

Have you noticed that wherever Vice President Biden goes troubles follow???

He’s eligible, he’s not eligible, what is it? Here’s the deal. Terrelle Pryor was eligible for this past Monday’s supplemental draft, taken by the Oakland Raiders in the 3rd round. He will be suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season once he signs his contract. Pryor says he will not appeal the suspension.
