This past Monday, WWE had its 900th episode of Monday Night Raw, and to say it was a big disappointment would put it mildly. Raw did have a rating of 3.5 which meant that 5,053,000 viewers watched.
First off, it’s a special show and it was for only 2 hours not 3. Second, the writers couldn’t come up with anything witty. The show looked like it was just thrown together at the last possible minute. Finally, there were no special moments, contrary to what Nexus star Wade Barrett said would happen. There was no Stone Cold Steve Austin, no Triple H, no Shawn Michaels and no Rock. I could understand that they couldn’t use any members of TNA, but the WWE could have called in some former stars. They did have Bret Hart (who, with the Undertaker, was on the first show), but that was not a special moment as he has been part of WWE now for the past 4 months.
To sum up the show HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING!!!
Dixie Carter, Owner of TNA, is spreading the word around that TNA has just signed a major free agent wrestler. TNA viewership is over 1,000,000. They are using the ECW angle.
