Raw had its lowest rating since November 2008, as only 3.9 million people watched. It did go up against Monday Night football and the new television season.

Rumors had it the Chris Jericho’s last night with the WWE was after the Night of Champions now they are saying it was this past Monday Night. Jericho’s band Fozzy will be performing outside the United States in October and December. So he probably won’t resign with the WWE until the beginning of 2011.

Matt Hardy’s time with the WWE may be coming to the end. He has been posting on youtube that the WWE is not the place for him. He is trying to get out of his contract with the WWE. He does want to be with his brother who is with TNA.

Ken Anderson has signed a long term contract with TNA.

Chyna was taken to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. But it is also mentioned that she overmedicated on Benadryl.

Making the airwaves and printed news was the arrest, this past Sunday, of former WWE wrestler Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. He was booked on drug, burglary, theft  and trafficking of illegal drugs (Oxycotin and Methodone). Bail had been set at $100,000 in Tampa, Florida. Neidhart was the tag team partner (and is a brother-in-law of ) Bret "The Hitman" Hart in the 80's and 90's. He is also the father of WWE Diva Natalya (Natalie "Nattie" Katherine Neidhart)

Wrestling Wednesday with ScottJax77 - 900th Monday Night Raw
Category: Wrestling

This past Monday, WWE had its 900th episode of Monday Night Raw, and to say it was a big disappointment would put it mildly. Raw did have a rating of 3.5 which meant that 5,053,000 viewers watched.

First off, it’s a special show and it was for only 2 hours not 3. Second, the writers couldn’t come up with anything witty. The show looked like it was just thrown together at the last possible minute. Finally, there were no special moments, contrary to what Nexus star Wade Barrett said would happen. There was no Stone Cold Steve Austin, no Triple H, no Shawn Michaels and no Rock. I could understand that they couldn’t use any members of TNA, but the WWE could have called in some former stars. They did have Bret Hart (who, with the Undertaker, was on the first show), but that was not a special moment as he has been part of WWE now for the past 4 months.

To sum up the show HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Dixie Carter, Owner of TNA, is spreading the word around that TNA has just signed a major free agent wrestler. TNA viewership is over 1,000,000. They are using the ECW angle.
