There are changes than there are changes as the Boston Celtics had one team last week and they were completely overhauled this week. Part of me says if it isn’t broken don’t fix it. The Celtics cleaned the bench out brought new guys and got rid of Kendrick Perkins as well. I’m not sure why all this was done. I think Perkins going was a finacial move the Celtics offered him an extension before the season and he turned it down. The other guys were traded too improve the bench. We will see if Danny Ainge is genius or goat.

Did anybody catch there are actual games being played. They don’t count but it’s a lot better than the local news guy doing his report for Florida or Arizona  and in the background guys in baseball uniforms are stretching. Spring Training has it’s drawbacks just ask Josh Beckett. Who ended up with mild concussion after taking a batted ball off the head.  I’ll put some money on the table here and now  that if Beckett struggles some Red Sox apologist will say it was all because of the concussion. I think of Beckett struggles and will just prove he isn’t the pitcher he once was.

I have noticed that professional athletes are full of stock answers. They have no personalities these days. Everything is monotone. Than again it’s not so when it comes to Ricky Vaughn the guy is giving the media so much it’s like he is feeding shartks with bloody meat. Everyday old Ricky is doing interview. He even video taped the cops taking his kid. Ricky probably needs some help but he is an adult and he will find his way at some point.

The  NHL trade deadline has come or gone and for the past several years I was all over it. This year a simply didn’t care. The Bruins got Tomas Kaberle who they have been chasing for  3 years. Brad Richards name was mentioned a lot and he didn’t move. The maple Leafs moved some guys as always. The Bruins are hot winning 6 straight on the road which they haven’t done since 1972.

Little Lanz will be going to his first Bruins game tonight. The kid is so exciting I think he phoned the newspaper to tell them he is going to the game. His teacher who we know a little outside the school setting  said to him that you have been wanting to go for a year. He says no I have been wanting to go my whole life. It will be a fun night tonight with him. If the Bruins win the cup they will be the #1 team in Boston again.

Ok so I bought these tickets through the bruins and they are decent seats. However , why the hell did it cost me $4 bucks to print the damn things on my own computer and why is there a processing charge per ticket? This wasn’t through stub hub where you expect to get raped. This was through the Bruins ticketing source. If some legislator is reading this can you do something about this crap(of course disregard if your in Wisconsin you have enough problems to deal with.). The killer was I tried to get him Pittsburgh Tix for Saturday Night but they were 60 bucks more for similar seats. I figured because it was the weekend and Pittsburgh . Buffalo next Tuesday were slightly more for a division game . I guess the Bruins use Tier pricing but for regular season Hockey it’s pricey.

The other little Lanz had baseball Sunday Night. I helped out with this team at indoor facility. Myself and the other couch pitch batting practice n a cage. Then the kids go to the field and play for 90 minutes. The field is small so they use a pitching machine. This week the pitching machine is broken. The other coach through wrong and couldn’t throw. The coach (another guy I have coached with) was alone and had to manage his bench so I ended up throwing. I haven’t thrown that much in years my arm was sore Monday.
