As I sit here watching the Red Wings and Canucks play tonight, wondering how the hell the score is only 2-1 in favor of the Wings with the way they are dominating the Canucks in their own building. I thought I would give Pavel a little love. Here is an absolutely amazing goal from earlier this year against the Black Hawks......

I wonder to myself if he is ignored for consideration of the Hart Trophy, partly because of the long run of playoff appearances by the Red Wings? Could it be that the Wings have set the bar too high for themselves, and it is just expected of him?

Here are some more reasons why I think he should receive Hart Trophy consideration, he is third in the league in scoring. Without him the Wings would not contend year after year for the Stanley Cup. He is truly a better two way player than anyone who plays the game, but yet his peers show him no love. He also has a temper, as you will see in my next video. I remember watching this fight against Corey Perry, I was both shocked and amazed at how well he handled himself against Perry.......

So lets show Pavel a little love this year, and give him the Hart Trophy he deserves. The league always seems to give it to someone that may not deserve it as much as the next person for whatever reason.

They're getting really good at throwing Championship parties in Boston! Nice B-Cups!

Yeah, they have every right to run smack...Boston has been doing some serious ass-kicking over the last ten years...I saw one sign being held by a little kid, that said something like, 'I'm 8 years old and I can die now!' Then it had Pats Championship checked off...Sox Championship checked off...Celtics Championship checked off...And Bruins Championship checked off...I'm just hoping to see 1 championship in the Cleve, before I drop dead!

I would have posted that picture, but I came across this one...

Like I said, they've got this Championship party thing down in Boston!

Oh and here's one for Burrows and his buddies in Vancouver...

Oh, how's your city doing assholes? What too soon? What a STAIN...

So now that Hockey's long-ass season is over, and we're waiting for Football, we have Baseball, and their grossly, way to long season to help kill the time...There has been all kinds of talk about realignment and rule changes and blah, blah, blah...Here's what I would do if I was the all-powerful, ruler of Baseball...

1. DH for everyone...Screw the National League and their purists...DH in both leagues creates more jobs...The Union would love it, and that's good 'cause at some point we're gonna need their support on something...With the rare exception, watching Pitchers hit is like watching a retarded monkey try to hump a Football...

2. Shorten the season...No more cold ass April games...Season will start in May...No more World Series on a cold October/November evening...Season will end 1st week of October at the latest, so passionate, purists can still say "Fall/October Classic"...

3. No Interleague play...The beauty of the "All-Star" Game and World Series is not having seen your opponent...Us vs. Them...These ass-hats want the "All-Star" game to count for home field in the World Series, then this adds to the competitiveness...

4. No fan voting for the "All-Star"...If it's gonna count, then the teams should be picked to make it count, and it should be played to count...And then you wouldn't have a douchebag like Jeter ahead of Asdrubal Cabrera in the voting...Since Cabrera is fucking killing it! Not just with the bat either...10 years ago, Jeter wouldn't have made this play the Cabrera made Sunday...

So that's my plan...What do you got?

Sunday was Father's Day...Often Father's Day seems like an afterthought to many people...Bu not at the Beeze's house...After I got up early with the baby, once everyone else woke up, the Mrs. sent me back to bed...About an hour and a half later, the Little Beeze woke me up and said, "Dad, don't come down stairs yet, I'm not done with your surprise!" I of course obliged, and went back to sleep...And hour later he woke me up, and put his wrapped up surprise in my face...I got up and opened it...My boy who loves his arts and crafts, made me a poster full of pictures of him and his sisters...I was very proud, and I was happy to see the pictures of him when he was much smaller and didn't swear so much!

The wife made dinner later in the day, which is always rare, and exciting...Yes, it was good...It a fun and restful day with the kids...What else can I ask for?

There is another Little Beeze story I have to share...Every Friday is Pizza night here...This week, when the delivery came, it was female driver...He heard the voice, and when I closed the door, he asked, "Was she hot!?!" I replied "No" He was bothered by this, assuming all women are hot, and asked why...I had to say, "she just wasn't." He really had a problem with this, so I told him, "Hot girls don't have to deliver pizza." The Mrs. didn't like this response, but come on now gang...It's true...

So the boy asked, "What is a hot girl?" SO I showed him the end of my blog from a couple weeks ago...You know the one, with Kate Upton doing the "Dougie"...This is a hot girl...

The wife again wasn't happy, when her 6 year old boy kept saying, "She's so hot!"

That's it for now...Have a week...

Later, The Beeze.

Oh Canada...

That may be the only positive moment of the riot last night...Nothing like a riot to get the ladies wet!

For those who don't know, Vancouver Canucks fans, decided to go bat-shit crazy and riot last night after they lost game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals...Before I get ranting, here's a taste of what happened...

There are tons of videos out there, if you want to see more...

Fires, Multiple stabbings, guy pushed to his death from an overpass...Busted windows, overturned cars, looting...This is how Vancouver deals with a loss in the Stanley Cup Finals...And it's not the first time...These fucktards snapped like this in 1994 when they lost to the New York Rangers...

And before we go any further, YES, I'm judging the whole fucking city based on the action of a few...A few thousand that is...I saw a video earlier today, where some of these assholes were busting windows out in a store and a guy tried to stop them and calm them down...They proceeded to jump him as a mob, and beat the fuck out of him in the street...Is this the nice, safe, passive, you can leave your doors unlocked, Canada that Michael Moore went on and on about in his movie, "Bowling For Columbine"? Fuck that!

This is really got me pissed off...A couple weeks ago, my Canadian pal Hotch wrote a blog that had a section about how the Anti-Canadian sentiment was really pissing him off...I agreed...I loved the trips I have taken there, including when the Mrs. and I got hitched there...There is a lot of great things about Canada, but last night, made all of that harder for people to see...My wife and I have always talked about taking a trip too Seattle and then heading up to Vancouver...Guess what? I won't be going to that asshole city anytime soon...

Yes, I'm putting it on the whole city! I heard one asshole say that these people weren't real Canucks fans...Just hooligans wearing Canucks jerseys and shirts...REALLY? FUCKING REALLY!?! What a crock of shit!

And Vancouver, not only is your whole city being judged as being a bunch ass-hat, fucktards...But you have a lot of people feeling that way about your entire country...I know all of Canada isn't a bunch of idiot Canucks fans, because I've been there...Just as I know all of the United States isn't a bunch of idiot Cleveland/Ohio State fans...But not everyone has that same point of reference...

During the Finals I really started hating the Canucks...I always hated Luongo, but as the series went on, I started disliking the whole, trash talking, finger biting, dive taking, turtling, chicken-shit, choking team...But I never would have held that against the city...So what does the city do? They make it easy for me, and many others to hate them...Good luck washing that fuck stain off your city!

Later, The Beeze.

So Much For Predictions!!!

Before I delve into the Stanley Cup Finals and the Bruins winning their first Cup since 1972, I want to let you all know that if it wasn’t for me getting Mo to remove his picture of the Stanley Cup yesterday from Facebook this could have all gone to hell in a hand basket really quick! I brought it to his attention that the Stanley Cup is never touched by players who have never won it, and therefore we shouldn’t be cocky and have it even posted on a wall somewhere until the deal was sealed! It’s back up, and appropriately so!

I was on the phone with Lanz today (who I’m sure will have a lot to say about this game today) and we were talking about the last time the Bruins hoisted the Cup, I was 11 years old, sitting on the floor of our living room while the Bruins polished off the Rangers in 6 games and setting a record for points scored in an NHL final 28-8. Those were the Bobby Orr/Gerry Cheevers days, these are the Tim Thomas/Zdeno Chara days!

I had been asked by numerous people all day if the Bruins could pull out a win in Vancouver after both teams had won all their home games and I said the same thing to all of them;, if the Bruins score first on Roberto Luongo they’d get inside his head and once they did that their defense which had been smothering would take care of the rest, and it did. Luongo no doubt was the reason the Canucks faltered losing 3 games in Boston miserably and being pulled twice but let’s not forget the highest scoring team in the NHL this season was held to 8 points. After the game in Boston Monday Daniel Sedin had predicted a Canucks victory in game 7, really going out on a limb there being no one had lost a game at home in the series. I assumed when hearing that the Sedin twins had chosen to actually show up in the final game and put some shots on the net and score some goals, that didn’t happen, these two had been absent basically all series, same with Ryan Kesler.

The Bruins outscored the Canucks in the series 23-8 with Thomas getting 2 shutouts, one in Boston then tonight in game 7. And how about Tim Thomas, is this guy fucking great or what? Not just a great goaltender, but he’s a class guy, willing to give props to Roberto Luongo after the game even when Luongo said that Thomas took unnecessary risks out of the crease, yet Thomas is a shoe-in for the Vezina Trophy, won the Conn Smythe for the Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP and as far as I’m concerned he’s the league MVP as well. Thomas has been a bull all season, the Bruins always playing with confidence with Thomas as the anchor.

Then there’s Brad Marchand, the pesky forward who scored 11 goals in the playoffs and who the Canucks had no answers for. Marchand’s wrist shot in game 6 gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead, he picked up two last night and his future is nothing but bright for the spoke’d B’s! Patrice Bergeron, the Bruins center whose faceoffs were missed when he went down with a mild concussion in the Flyer series but was a force to be reckoned with for these last seven games scored two goals on Luongo, the second shorthanded as he crashed the net and managed to push it by the Canucks netminder. Captain Zdeno Chara, the towering acquisition from Ottawa who had brought back the BAD in the Big Bad Bruins with his aggressive, physical play and 100 mph slap shot no doubt was the defensive backbone for this team which proved to be extremely stingy when it came to goals allowed.

I’ll never be able to cover the play of all the Bruins roster, but Krejci the finesse scorer, Thornton who was a healthy scratch until Nathan Horton was drilled in game one by Aaron Rome, Recchi, the 43 year old 3 time Stanley Cup winner, who is now retiring, the trade deadline that brought Tomas Kaberle from Toronto, along with Chris Kelly from Ottawa and Rich Peverly from the now defunct Thrashers and all the rest made this a season to remember.

The city of Boston will now roll out the Duck Boats for another cruise through the city and a spin around the Charles River and join the other of the major sports franchises that have now given the The Hub it’s 7thchampionship in the last 10 seasons, and Boston will hold the title as the only city to win championships in all four major sports in a 7 year span! We’ll take it!

Boston Bruins, 2010-2011 Stanley Cup Champions!!!

Bruins Win the Stanley Cup 4-0/ Luongo Still Sucks

Hey Roberto Luong, you feel like talking anymore shit about the guy who out played the shit out of you? Let's see he's got the Cup and the Conn Smythe...What the fuck do you have, you mental case!?!

The Bruins went into Vancouver, and took it the Canucks in game seven...The Canucks started out playing well...It was looking like a great game...Hell Vancouver had to try and show up for that Sedin that said they'd win...Eventhough him and his brother had been non-existent in the finals...

But once Patrice Bergeron knocked in the first goal, off of a great pass from Brad Marchand, you could feel it happening...Luongo was going to make sure LeBron James isn't stealing his title for the King of the Choke...

In the second period, Marchand scored his first of 2 goals, the second being an empty netter...But the kill shot came when while on the penalty kill, Bergeron broke in on Luongo and was taken down by Christian Erholf, as they went crashing into the ice and net, the puck beat them across the goal-line...It was done then...Yes there was a period left, but Tim Thomas wasn't going to allow a comeback, as he stopped all 37 of Vancouver's shots...

The Canucks looked to tap out late in the third...They had been physically beaten the entire series, and it was showing...They had no offense, especially from there top two lines...

All four of the Bruins lines played great hockey...Guys like Paille, Campbell, Thornton, who don't get much credit, played excellent two-way hockey...43 year old Mark Recchi, didn't look 43 playing with Beregron and Marchand...And picking up Rich Peverly in the Blake Wheeler deal really paid off, especially how well he filled in for Nathan Horton, on the Krejci/Lucic line...This was a true team victory!

As for Vancouver, I have grown to really dislike these guys...They played like punks...And Luongo did what I said he would...He choked, just as he always does...Because he's an overrated cunt! Oh and people of Vancouver way to go...Nothing says class, like starting fires and riots after your team loses...

Didn't you do this before...Oh yeah, back in '94 when the Rangers beat you...Glad to see you're still acting like fucking children!

Congrats Boston, and the Bruins!

Wow, in the ten years I've been married to a gal from Boston, we've seen The Patriots win 3 Super Bowls, The Red Sox win the World Series twice, The Celtics won a title, and now the Bruins win the Stanley cup...Bostonians, you're lucky fucking people!

Later, The Beeze
