After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Target.
Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women - she loves to browse. 
Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Target:
Dear Mrs. Harris, 
Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras: 
1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people's
carts when they weren't looking. 
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in House wares to go off at 5-minute intervals. 
3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom. 
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away'. This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. 
5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway. 
6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 
7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged. 
8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' EMTs were called. 
9.. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror 
while he picked his nose. 
10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the 
clerk where the antidepressants were. 
11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the Mission Impossible' theme. 
12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels. 
13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled 
'PICK ME! PICK ME!' 
14. October 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!' 
And last, but not least: 
15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here.' One of the clerks passed out.
 

“Weinergate” Really? What  the hell is going on with our world where we want to spend our hard earned money on tribunals and the such to see if someone sending Twitter pic’s of his wiener? Of course his twitter was hacked probably from someone that as googling his facebook. I’m sure he really wanted to hack HER.

Groupon files a for and IPO worth about $750 million. No product, no services, and they pull a Google. Not sure they will hit $500 per share like Google, but have you noticed that several companies do not have these items as of late but what they offer is access to people. That is the real money making is finding the ability to drive people to one if not several places and then sell the advertisements? Damn that sounds like a great idea for a social networking site (that’s what I will call it).  Shit, I’m already 20 billion behind these folks.

As sick as it sounds this issue was so prevalent until food producers started re-feeding decomposing animals, byproducts, and other things that nature did not intend for animals for eat. And now this is what happens. I hope that they can stop the spread of this outbreak, it is a bad one but this is a great time to bring up how Congress frequently calles the EPA into the courts to try and DECREASE the stringency of the office and have threatened to deregulate it IE: close the EPA.

US unemployment rises to 9.1%. (Please not previous post regarding soaring education costs). The jobs that are being created require a higher end education, which our Gov-ment taxes (and several other things). Truly our country is in shambles but I believe it is mainly due to our erasing of middle-class. This is the area that has been hit the hardest and continues to have the toughest recovery.   Been thinking of late, and yes that in itself is quite dangerous, of what will it take to make this Nation of our a great Nation again? Is it the money? We have quite a bit of debt and as a nation we are being devalued on several stock exchanges (please see previous posts). Is it our freedom? This has been altered and manipulated over several years to where we really are not free. We live in a strictly controlled environment that allows us certain controlled privileges, but not freedom. We have certain days to celebrate on the calendar mainly because the businesses want to manipulate it to sell goods and services to consumers. It was not always like that, but since most of our GNP is based on how much we spend as a nation it has to be.

Chrysler has reported a first quarter earnings of 116 MILLION dollars net income since bailout of 2009 (yes it has been two years). All of the Detroit automakers have now reported a profit. But wait, They have also gotten back in bed with the same groups, although different names, that lead to the collapse of several years ago. China National Tobacco Corporation is state owned so they received profits from taxing AND selling to the people of China which accounts for roughly 7% of the government’s revenues so when China passed a law for a smoking ban that is NOT enforced and has no fines if broken they clearly let their people know there place.

Most of us are now aware of Afghanistan and what is happen in that area regarding the war, terrorist activity and production of poppy. Yes they have some of the largest poppy field in the world and now it is tearing their country apart. The US is going in and destroying their fields before the next harvest and that is costing us as Americans millions. But this is one issue that I’m not complaining about. Nearly a tenth of the population is addicted to heroin (15-64) and in Kabul is roughly 2.8 million and over 100,000 addicts in Kabul alone and growing at over 140% from 2005-2009. At this pace one of the oldest cities will be decimated in about 10 years and with that brings a tougher situation than what we have now from that region. It is the making of a takeover of a country from whom ever wants it.

Push the merger through and get PAID. Yes the person responsible for that illegal merger of Comcast and NBC that HAD worked for the FCC and HAD pushed the merger through surprising took a position with Comcast as a Senior VP. Ahh I do so love honesty in big business. I just have not seen it.

The thing that scares me is that not much if anything has changed regarding the past financial crisis to now. This is why several other Nation refuse to bank with us or lend to our country.
