The Trickle Affect...
Posted by dougvantyle on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:36:19 AM

Warning: This blog contains some middle school style humor.

If you are easily offended, see you next week...

I am not a racing fan. Sorry, but I just can’t get into it. I guess the only time I’ve ever made a point to watch racing is on Memorial Day weekend when they cart our Granny, the 144 year old wrinkle-ladened woman named Mary Almond Joy (or something like that), and she proclaims, “(Lady and) Gentlemen, start your engines.” That’s pretty cool to watch.

Come to think of it, there’s one more ditty worth watching. Does Jim Nabors still sing, Back Home Again in Indiana? Gahhhh-leeee, Sargeant Carter. Actually, Gomer will be singing at the Speedway this year after missing 2012’s event due to heart surgery.

So, that’s about it for me and racing. I get dizzy watching people drive in circles. However, those who are into it are REALLY into it. But not me. I liked King Richard Petty when he was winning all those races. (Me thinks it’s the aura of the cowboy hat.) And I like Jeff Gordon... but I never watch the races. I mean, they travel 500 miles and they still end up in the same place.

I went to a tractor pull once in Burley, Idaho. That was pretty fun. And talk about fun, during my days at KCR, our San Diego State campus radio station, I was invited to be a “celebrity” go-kart racer. That was a blast.

But when I think of racing, only one name comes to mind. And with a name like that, how could I resist? Dick Trickle... a name made for racing. That’s right. I mean, come on... “Slam dunk by Dick Trickle???” “Swung on and missed, Dick Trickle tosses a perfect game???” It just doesn’t sound right. Maybe as a hockey player... Maybe...

Wanna get a smile or a laugh??? Just say, “Dick Trickle” and it’s guaranteed. I actually did that two weeks ago in front of my all-boys Algebra class. One of my students couldn’t stop laughing. And then, I added that Dick was a short track legend. “Dick” and “short” go together perfectly, don’t they??? (Well, for some of you guys they do.) The kids loved it.

So when word came last week that Trickle took his life, I was truly sad. Apparently he couldn’t bear the pain and decided to end it. Trickle’s brother Chuck told Mark Anderson of the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Dick was suffering from unbearable pain under his left breast. It was so bad, he was seeing the doctor twice a day.

Most suicides seem to be from mental pain... kinda like Junior Seau. He just couldn’t cope with his internal demons. The pain must have been excruciating for Trickle. Former NASCAR driver Geoff Bodine called Trickle, “Fun... just plain fun.” Bodine also noted that Trickle kept a cigarette lighter in his car. He even cut a hole in his racing helmet to he could smoke that thing... the cigarette, not the lighter. Brother Chuck added that Dick “...could’ve run for president and won.” (http://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/motor-sports/dick-trickle-was-constant-pain-apparent-suicide-brother-says)

The greatest name in the history of sports...

The greatest short track racer in the history of short track racing...

More than 1,200 documented short track wins...

And a big time personality who was...

More than just a funny name...

Now You See It, Now You Don't...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:55:42 PM

Just a day dreamin’ the other day...

Wonderin’ what it would be like for the rest of my life...

Don’t think I could take it...

So I decided to reduce it to the next five years...

Then I had to make the big decision...

Who do I pick???

And who can I stand to live without...

Amongst my many favorite teams...

Clippers, Lakers, Chargers, Kings, Aztec football...

Once I pick I can’t go back...

For five looooooong year...

You are cordially invited to join me...

And select only one team...

Just one team you can watch and follow for the next five years...

And you have no access to the other ones...

No access whatsoever...

Read the paper, it ain’t in there...

Watch TV...

Just a snowy picture...

Same for that radio station...

It ain’t there either...

Who do you love the most???

Who can’t you live without...

And the others just don’t exist...

For five years...

You won’t even know when they’re playing...

Or not playing...

So...

Imagine the off-season...

The loooooooong off-season...

If you pick a basketball team

You can’t watch the other sports...

Not just your team...

But the entire sport...

Well...

Maybe we could let you watch the other sports...

Or maybe not...

But not your team in that sport...

Is your absolute favorite team in your absolute favorite sport???

Tough choice???

Will it be based on how well that team is playing at the time???

Or will you pick a crummy team in your favorite sport???

I must say...

This is a tough one for me...

Baseball is my favorite sport...

That’s my generation...

But there’s nothing like going to a hockey game...

Or sitting in the stands with my season tickets...

Watching SDSU...

My college football alma mater...

If I don’t pick a college basketball team...

I miss March Madness...

Do I mind missing the Super Bowl???

Or the World Series???

The Stanley Cup...

Could I bear not getting to watch???

The dreaded Pro Bowl???

And...

As with any challenge like this...

There must be an *asterisk...

A disclaimer...

*Your actual mileage may vary...

*Member FDIC...

*If it lasts for more than four hours, call a doctor...

Okay...

One more thing...

Soccer doesn’t count...

You can’t pick a soccer team...

Because most soccer fans are one-sporters...

The wouldn’t miss the other sports any ways...

And that’s not fair to the rest of us...

Does that hurt you soccer fans???

Then fall down and fake an injury...

So...

Who’s your pick???

Are you going for quantity???

162 baseball games???

Or quality???

A four month college football season...

As for me...

I will pass on the Clippers and the Chargers...

I will miss the Clips...

But I can definitely live without the Bolts...

Especially after being Norved to death the last few years...

It’s between the Angels and the Kings...

And if I don’t take the Halos...

What do I do during the summer months???

Hmmm...

I could go to a minor league park???

Does that count???

I’ll count it...

I’m the boss here...

I’ll pass on the Angels...

So the only one left is...

GO! KINGS! GO!

Sitting There for Eternity...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, May 09, 2013 at 11:11:25 PM

I’m so used to not expecting it...

Figure I’m gonna get out of there at a certain time...

Maybe I’ll even leave a bit early if the score is lopsided...

And even if it IS a barn burner...

In baseball, it’s usually over by the tenth or eleventh at best...

Basketball usually just has one “Oh-Tee”...

A kickoff return or short drive can end in football...

And because there’s more scoring in those three...

Chances of extra time are less likely...

But you go to an NHL playoff game...

And you could be there for another hour or two...

That was my feeling precisely Saturday night...

Kings hosting the Blues...

Seats on the glass with my friend and fellow blogger, ArK Razor...

Even though the Kings won 1-0 in regulation...

As the Blues were pressing LA in the third...

I got to thinking...

Hey, we might be here a while...

And with hockey...

Sudden death happens so quickly...

Literally blink and you may literally miss it...

Hold that bladder...

The munchies can wait for the break...

Or the break after that...

Yes, baseball has a few marathons each year...

The Los Angeles StrAngels lost (blew) a 19 inning tilt...

One of many defeats this year...

But as you know, baseball isn’t sudden death...

Even the term "sudden death" is scary...

Football is...

But the intensity doesn’t match hockey...

Speaking of intensity...

Who can forget the Easter Epic???

Kelly Hrudey was stellar for the Isles...

LaFontaine’s goal was fabulous...

Exhausted after ending it...

But the intermission after the 2nd OT???

A classic in its own right...

Mike Emrick and Bill Clement...

Some called it unprofessional on Clement’s part...

Give me a break...

That was flat out entertaining...

A nice contrast to a tense game...

Loosen up and enjoy life, Bucko...

(BTW, I miss ESPN’s Tom Mees. He passed way too early...)

So...

Keep the game close...

I’ll sit back in my recliner...

With toothpicks in my eyelids...

Just waiting for that special moment...

He shoots...

He scores...

Game over...

Yes, I'm in Favor of Gun Control...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, May 02, 2013 at 11:35:25 PM

Make sure you control that gun real well when aiming it at the bad guy...

The question isn’t “if the trigger will be pulled”...

Rather...

“When the trigger will be pulled”...

As MLB begins...

And NHL/NBA ends...

You have the eternal speculation as to who is on the firing line...

More often than not...

A coach/manager get fired too soon...

Someone has to be the scapegoat...

Occasionally...

A team waits too long to fire its head man...

(Cough...Chargers...Cough...Choke...Chargers...Cough-Cough...)

You can just sense it as it builds...

Does a coach’s ability to coach deteriorate in time???

Not usually...

A good coach is a good coach is a good coach...

But some excellent coaches do have short shelf lives...

Basketball’s Larry Brown...

Hockey’s Mike Keenan...

Just to name a couple...

So...

Why and when do they decide to pull the trigger...

To appease the fans???

To change things up???

Midseason???

Wait until the end???

Sometimes the players need a different voice...

They shouldn’t, but they do...

I mean...

With all that money, what does it matter who’s at the helm???

And with some guys...

You just know it’s a bad fit from the beginning...

(Choke...Valentine...Cough, Cough...Valentine...Choke, Cough)

And it’s just a matter of time...

So now we come to the Angels’ skipper Mike Scioscia...

One of MLB’s best...

But suffering through a few lean years...

And off to another bad start...

In spite of high priced free agents...

C. J.  Wilson, Albert Pujols, and Josh Hamilton...

The trigger...

To pull or not to pull...

Angels' fans have done a lot of second guessing recently...

Did pulling Zach Greinke early a few games last year chase him away???

That wouldn’t surprise me if it did...

Granted...

Injuries have not been the Halos’ friend this year...

And the pitching was suspect from the very beginning...

That’s not Scioscia’s fault...

But he does seem to be getting more stubborn in his old age...

And when firing any manager, it must be considered...

Is there anybody out there who can right the ship???

Probably not...

But if you ask me...

(And nine times out of ten I usually say “no”...)

The time has probably come...

Need a new face...

Need a new voice...

And Scioscia could use a change of scenery...

Sorry, Mike...

Love you...

Not really your fault...

But like they say...

It’s a business...

When to Yay and When to Boo...
Posted by dougvantyle on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1:47:37 AM

So...

Josh Hamilton goes to Texas...

And he gets booed...

And...

The former Angel Torii Hunter goes to Anaheim...

And he gets yayed...

Wait a sec here...

The got it wrong...

Texas should be yaying...

Cus Hamilton is stinking...

And...

Anaheim should be booing...

Cus Torii is playing lights out...

So...

What makes a crowd decide to boo...

And another crowd decide to yay...

Did the booing crowd wake up on the wrong side of the bed???

Was it a bunch of women PMS-ing???

And the yaying crowd...

They are so happy their “hero” came back to town...

What are those people smoking???

Aren’t you supposed to boo the guy on the other team???

He’s the bad guy, you know...

Who borrowed the handbook on when to booo and when to yay???

And then sometimes a boo isn’t a boo...

It’s a Cruuuuuuzzzz...

Or in hockey...

It’s a Luuuuuuuuuuc...

Does this bug the “uuuuuuu” people???

Or do they know their fans are really happy to see them???

They have no one to blame but themselves...

And their parents...

Mommy and Daddy shouldn’t have given them an “uuuuuuuu” name...

I don’t boo much...

I prefer cute little clever lines...

Like when the announcer announces Chase Headley...

I say...

"Hedd-lehhhhh"...

Just like Harvey Korman did in Blazing Saddles...

Or when Junior Felix came to bat...

I’d yell “Hoon-yur”...

And always embarrass my brothers...

And then not too long after “Hoon-yur” retired...

My brother Scott told me Junior Felix and his wife had a baby boy...

And named him Junior Felix, Junior...

Can’t wait until he gets to the majors...

“Hoon-yur, Hoon-yur”...

And there was always Greg Gagne...

I would always respond...

“With a spoon!!!”

=====

So...

Whatever you do...

If you yay...

Or you boo...

Have fun at the game...

Then toodle-uuuuu...

Jumping the Bomb...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10:53:13 PM

A little girl prayed...

“Lord give me patience”...

“And give it to me right now”...

----------

How do you make something bad even worse???

Just put it in the hands of the media...

And the political commentators...

That’s an easy blame, isn’t it???

It’s as if they are waiting...

Even worse...

It’s as if they even WANT something like this to happen...

Opportunists they are...

With zero evidence they make their claims...

How sick can you be???

You have those with zero IQ blaming right wing extremists...

It had to be one of those pro gun guys, didn't it???

The media tripping over each other...

Just to be the one to break a story...

“You heard it here FIRST!!!"

“Exclusive videos exclusively as we bring it to you FIRST!!!”

“Before everybody else does”...

Listen to me now...

The Boston Marathon is the race, NOT the news coverage...

I don’t give a rat’s rear end who breaks the story...

No need to "jump the gun"...

Okay, yeah...

That’s great...

You broke the story 15 seconds before they did...

That and three dollars gets you coffee at Starbucks...

Enough with the self=aggrandizing...

It ain't about you...

Just get it right, please...

Keep your trap shut, Michael Moore...

Double-check your sources, CNN...

Before you look even more buffoonish...

Quit wetting your media diaper in order to beat everybody else...

Have some consideration for the victims...

Let the families grieve...

It’s life...

And death...

All we want is the truth...

The Nutball Himself...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11:49:57 PM

I can’t say I knew fellow blogger Larry “Nutball” Novak real well... other than the fact that his sense of humor and mine were obviously separated at birth.  Larry would occasionally like or respond to one of my facebook quips. And I would occasionally return the volley. Isn’t it a shame that sometimes we get to know people better after they are gone??? So I decided to browse through a few of my fellow blogger’s facebook remarks, posted pics, and not to mention his Nutball Gazette to see what I could find. I hope Larry doesn’t mind. If so, I’ll hear about it later...

As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from an occasional social session over the years. A couple of nights ago, I was out for an evening with friends and had a couple of cocktails and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a cab home. Sure enough, I passed a police road block but, since it was a cab, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise; as I have never driven a cab before and am not sure where I got it or what to do with it now that it's in my garage.” -2/27/13

“A husband and wife are shopping in their local supermarket.

The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.

"What do you think you're doing?" asks the wife.

"They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans" he replies.

"Put them back, we can't afford them" demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.

A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.

"What do you think you're doing?" asks the husband.

"It's my face cream. It makes me look beautiful," replies the wife.

Her husband retorts: "So does 24 cans of Budweiser and it's half the price." --12/11/12

“Question for all you knowledgeable people out there.

If peanut butter cookies are made from peanut butter, then what are Girl Scout cookies made out of?--I lay awake all night wondering about stuff like this.”  --2/9/11

“Good Morning,

Lets Start it with another joke

What do you get when you cross a snowman with a vampire?

Frostbite.”  --1/5/11

“Cousins are there as your built-in childhood friends, and they are there when you are older as forever friends. No one will ever understand your crazy family like your cousins! Repost if you have cousins that make yousmile... HAPPY COUSINS DAY!!...=)”  --11/12/10

Larry’s Nutball Gazette blog was full of NFL predictions, opinions, and condescending team name parodies such as... Indy Mules, K C Squaws, Minn Purple PeePee Eaters, Oakland Afraiders, Arizona Cadavers, Chicago Munsters of the Midway, Filthydelphia Hummingbirds, Barfallo Belles, San Diego Deadbolts, East Rutherford Runts, St. Lois Scrams...  12/7/11

He made us smile...

He made us laugh...

He made us groan...

He made us think...

He loved his country...

Larry Novak will be richly remembered...

And missed...

Ups and Downs of Baseball...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, April 04, 2013 at 11:49:16 PM

(A perfect picture of the baseball season...)

I can hear it now...

Your favorite team loses two or three games in a row...

And here comes the whining...

"Awwww..."

"These guys are horrible..."

Three divided by 162 equals 1.85% and change...

That’s right, less than two percent of the season...

And fans...

Who have way too much free thinking...

Cry that the season is a "disaster"...

It’s one thing when your NFL team loses two-slash-three straight...

Pretty much done...

And I know this is trite...

But baseball has its ups and downs over a loooooong season...

More or less, everybody will win 62 and lose 62...

Many of those 62 will be three, four, five, and six in a row...

In either direction...

Be patient...

The world won’t end...

At least for a while...

During their World Series season in 2002...

The Angels started at 6-14...

And I am sure you have other examples...

What usually happens, though...

Is that a team is on fire for twenty...

Then peters out as the season progresses...

So don’t wet your pants in excitement too soon...

Be patient and let it play out a bit...

-----

So...

Just what are we looking at this season...

To me, most divisions are pretty wide open...

I can see the Tigers running away with the AL Central...

I am not yet sold on the Blue Jays in the East...

If I am in a pick or die situation...

I will take the Rays...

Somehow the Jankees will fight through the injuries...

And don’t be surprised if they procure a wild card...

I need to see consistent pitching from the Angels...

The Halo firepower may need some time to get jump-started...

Look for the Rangers and Angels in a dogfight...

This may shock you...

But one year does not a career make...

Until he does it year in and year out...

I’ll just sit back and watch Mike Trout...

I remember Chris Sabo...

This may not be a good example...

But wasn’t he the next coming of Brooks Robinson???

It was the mystique of the glasses, I think...

And...

Trust me on this...

Was the end of last season a precursor for Josh Hamilton???

The beginning of a permanent downslide???

Call me Douglas Downer...

Just like my wife does...

But that’s the way I see it...

And as far as Baltimore and Oakland are concerned???

Just call them Mungo Jerry???

And Christie...

One hit wonders...

-----

Over in the Nationals’ League...

Precisely...

Got a taste of it last year...

Ready to take the next step...

As for the rest of the East...

Atlanta being Atlanta getting a wild card...

As an old time Ken Boyer/Cardinals fan...

Gotta lean to the Cards...

But it’s about time for the return of the...

Fam-a-lee...

Love those uniforms...

Would love to see it...

But don’t think it will happen...

The Giant should repeat in the West...

But the Los Angeles Nordstroms...

Could give them a run for their money...

Should be fun...

And if you are upset with any of my predictions...

Remember this...

I have zero teams in the Final Four this year...

Should have printed it out on toilet paper...

Sherwood's Forest Lawn...
Posted by dougvantyle on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 2:45:49 AM

Many famous peeps have been buried at Forest Lawn in So Cal...

Andy Gibb and Art Linkletter...

Bert Convy, Bette Davis, and Buster Keaton...

Charles Laughton...

David Carradine and Don Drysdale...

Edgar Buchanan, Edie Adams, and Ernie Kovacs...

Forrest Tucker and Fred “Rerun” Berry...

Gene Autry and Godfrey Cambridge...

Rick’s mom, Harriet Nelson...

And John’s mom, Helen Travolta...

Jack Webb and John Wooden...

Leo Durocher and Liberace...

Lou Rawls and Lucille Ball...

Marty Feldman and Marvin Gaye...

Not to mention my dear Uncle Leo...

And my mom and dad...

Forest Lawn at Glendale and Hollywood Hills are beautiful...

However...

Two more burials took place last weekend...

At Sherwood’s Forest Lawn...

The hair, the smile, and the tongue...

Sherwood Brown and Florida Gulf Coast performing last rites...

Jamaal Franklin and San Diego State followed Georgetown...

Going six feet under...

Oh my word...

Haven’t they stolen the show at the March Madness Dance???

We are pleasantly stunned...

But not as nearly as stunning as...

The coach’s wife...

Take a look at him, then take a look at her...

Boy, did he marry up...

Way, way up...

THAT dude got a supermodel???

Amanda Marcum Enfield???

Well...

Now there’s hope for you young and ugly single men out there...

No wonder the Hoyas and Aztecs lost...

Too busy looking at her...

Totally unfair...

Hiawatha!!!!!!!

You better watch out, Florida Gators...

The Undertaker has your grave ready...

But if you took a brief moment to shift your eyes to the court...

You found something incredibly refreshing...

A Phenomenal Phifteen in the Sweet Sixteen...

Actually...

Should a team that beat Miami be seeded that low???

It doesn’t matter at this point...

The Florida Gulf Coast “Iggles” have landed...

Making this tournament incredibly memorable...

In more ways than one...

Pickin' Brackets...
Posted by dougvantyle on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:26:00 PM

(Merge the left side of Obama's bracket with the right side of Limbaugh's bracket...)

I’m usually pretty good at it...

Even if I do say so myself...

My secret???

I don’t pay much attention to the regular season...

I look at the overall records...

Keep an eye on the conference tourneys...

And my teams...

And lean toward coaches that tend to do well...

I usually give the benefit of the doubt to the school in the major conference...

Then I take a stab at it...

The trick is picking a few upsets...

And getting them right...

So this is what I did this year...

If you look at Michigan St. Coach Tom Izzo...

You will see me riding on his back...

I tend to do that every year...

And it usually pays off at least into the Elite Eight...

I saw Oregon play host to Washington in January...

No way a twelve seed...

I told you so...

An “upset” so to speak...

Not really...

Twelves tend to do well over fives...

Tempting enough for me to take Akron over VCU...

(Ooooopps, that was a stupid pick...)

And I usually like VCU for a game or two...

My three favorite schools are San Diego State, Illinois, and UCLA...

Picking for or against “your team” is not easy...

I try to not be a homer...

The broken foot hurt the Bruins...

Many have them biting the dust against Minnie...

I think they have enough to win one...

Illinois gets Colorado...

Haven’t watched them much...

But I tend to favor the Big Ten in a situation like this...

And I want Cousin Diane to be happy, too...

She’s the biggest Fighting Illini fan I know...

Watches every game...

As for San Diego State...

Not as good as the last two years...

My wife, Miss Kim, used to work with Jamaal Franklin’s mom...

(Dunk of the year...)

You will see him in the NBA next year...

I just had to homer this one...

But I won’t be surprised if it goes the other way...

My son Ryan and I will hang together Friday...

Eat and watch ball...

Watch ball and eat...

And this thing about calling the first round the second round...

That is stupid...

That’s not a round...

Those are play-in games...

Yes, I know that technically those teams are already in...

But it still isn’t a round...

You see...

Even me...

A non-drinker...

I know what a round is...

If you buy a round...

It’s for everybody...

And not everybody is in the so-called first round...

I think they are just trying to be politically correct...

And not hurt the feelings of those teams...

But it’s still not a round...

Enough of that...

I was very nervous about picking UNLV over Cal...

Going against both my “5/12” and “BigvsSmallerConference” rules...

But I did it anyways...

And I am paying for it...

UNLV is playing sloppily...

And about ready to get bounced...

Not really an upset in my book...

Yes, I know the Mountain West isn’t that much smaller...

And they got five in...

But they don’t have the aura of the Pac-12...

What about Marquette???

They scared the "caca" out of everybody...

But prevailed...

It wouldn’t have mattered...

I have Butler beating them in the next round...

Butler is still getting overflow love from previous years...

The Creighton-Cincinnati choice was interesting...

Why is Creighton called the Bluejays???

The Creighton Barrels is much better...

I went with the past track record and Cincy in that one...

Belmont never wins...

Don’t ever pick them...

Belmont is a horse race, not a basketball team...

And speaking of horse race...

Kentucky...

Bwaaaahaaaaahaaaaahaaaahaaa....

Poor John Capillary...

A bloody bad year...

And now for the number one seeds...

You could have drawn from a hat and done as well...

Louisville...

Denny Crum was one of my faves...

Probably because he was a Wooden protege...

Two great nicknames from the past...

"Never Nervous" Pervis Ellison...

And Dr, Dunkenstein...

Darrel Griffith...

Not a Pitino fan...

But he’s a good coach...

I just don’t root for him...

But I’m not stupid either...

I love Saint Louis...

But I see “Loo-vull” squeaking by...

But losing to the Michigan State Izzo’s in the Midwest Final...

Gonzaga almost choked on a cucumber today...

I am not impressed...

Sweet Sixteen is the max for the Zags..

UNLV is only down by three right now...

Maybe there is hope...

Nope...

Oooopps, that was the final score...

Don’t ask me why, but I like Wisconsin over Gonzaga...

Maybe it’s the defense...

They still play good defense, right???

If not, I screwed that one up...

New Mexico could make a big run...

They will definitely outsmart Harvard...

I have the Lobos over the Buckeyes...

But losing to the Badgers in the West’s Elite Eight...

On the other side of the bracket...

Kansas...

Bill Self...

I will never, ever do that...

It doesn’t make any sense...

I would rather bill other people than bill myself...

The Jayhawks will just miss the Final Four...

I really like Florida...

Even though I have only been there once...

And speaking of Florida...

I just can’t ignore Miami in the East bracket...

In my opinion...

That’s your championship game right there.

Miami vs. Florida...

But it won’t happen...

Cus they are on the same side...

So I have Miami nipping Florida...

Wisconsin stopping Izzo...

And Miami winning it all convincingly...

It’s just a bunch of hunches all rolled up into one prediction...

But isn’t that the way everybody does it...

Enjoy the Madness...
