I was at Smackdown Tuesday in Jacksonville, Fl. Here are the results, which will be shown this Friday:

* Kofi Kingston b. Jack Swagger w/Eagle in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match

* Alberto Del Rio b. Big Show via count out when Ricardo Rodriguez got involved in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match

* Drew McIntyre b. MVP in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match

* Kelly Kelly b. Michelle McCool. After the match Layla assisted Michelle in beating up Kelly Kelly but Beth Phoenix came out and made the save.

* Cody Rhodes b. Rey Mysterio when Alberto Del Rio interfered in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match. Del Rio was on commentary for the bout.

The following was a house match only:

* Big Show and Rey Mysterio beat Alberto Del Rio and Drew McIntyre after the Big Show choked slammed Drew and then Rey went on Big Shows Shoulders and dived on McIntyre for the pin

The arena was only half full. I’m guessing 4,000-5,000.

The matches were very good.

Kelly Kelly, Big Show, Rey Mysterio and Edge got the biggest pops

Alberto Del Rio and Kane got the biggest boos.

WWE is having two more “Special” three-hour shows for Monday Night Raw. The shows are King of the Ring (on 11/29) and The Slammy Awards (on 12/13).

The Miz is now the WWE Champ. This past Monday, he beat Randy Orton after Orton RKO’d Wade Barrett. Orton had a knee injury and The Miz capitalized on it.

Vince McMahon has signed a new contract with WWE effective January 1, 2011 for 3 years, with the contract renewing each year unless either party chooses not to extend. He will serve as Chairman and CEO, Creative Director, writer and performer.
