Yes, the Toronto Blue Jays have made another blockbuster deal…
Today they have added some much needed pitching to go with their heavy bats, landing left-handed ace, David Price…
In return, the Tigers got three left-handed prospects in Daniel Norris (22)…Jairo Labourt (21)…and Matt Boyd (24)…Boyd and Norris are in Triple-A, while Labourt is in Single-A…By everything I have read, Norris is the key player in the deal…
Price, (29) will be a highly coveted free agent after this season…
I’m not sure if the Blue Jays have a shot at the division, but they are clearly all in, going for a playoff run.
Considering their position, it’s a good rental. But in reality it’ll take a Yankee fold. Get Toronto 2 more pitchers and it’s a different story, but get anybody 2 more pitchers and it’s a different story.
If it doesn’t put the Jays in the playoffs , bye bye entire MGT structure
Price makes Toronto the best team in the AL East but they are 7 games back with 60 to go. The Yankees are not exactly fading away winning 8 of there last 10 games.
Lets see if Toronto can resign Price for the long run, if not he’s an overpaid rental for 1/3 of a season
Toronto is going all out. They should be a playoff team.
In the AL East, this could be the thing that takes Toronto over the top. Yes, New York is hot right now, but it would seem that Toronto has a lot more talent. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s how I see it.
