I’ll start off with Jimmie S. Sampson Jr a member of Forever Jaguars said it best: Bad weather, two starters from your O-line out, starting receiver out, you get a 100 yard rusher, a Passing TD, and a Victory and we’re still not satisfied! Do we just want to find fault? Here’s a fault, when will fans start buying tickets? I’m seeing a lot of love on FB, is the Bandwagon starting to Fill?
You said it well Jimmy. The defense played well too. I am sick of going to games and Everbank is not full of fans. You fans wanted a winner and now we have one, so now your talk is cheap. Put up or shut up!!!
You all talk like you have played football in snow and in cold weather. NOT!! Enough said.
No one said this was going to be an easy game except most Jaguar fans (there were some who said watch out for this game). You all did not take the cold weather and snow into consideration, or the fact the Browns are 4th in rushing and they lost 4 of 9 by 3 points or less (Steelers, Colts, Jets, Titans). They also played the Lions tough until a cheap shot by Detroit on Kinsler derailed them.
How many of you caught a cold from watching this game??? Brrr. They can leave the snow and the cold old up North, I like the warmth of the South.
It wasn’t a pretty win. The offense was missing people due to injuries. The passing offense did enough to get us by. Bortles needs to control the ball better instead of throwing the ball without looking when he is going down for a sack. He has played better, but the conditions made it difficult. Better quarterbacks have had worse games in Cleveland than Bortles did.
Now on with the good stuff!!
The Jaguars are 1 game up on the Titans!!
4 game winning streak is the longest since 2007.
The defense was dominate again.
5 turnovers by the Browns.
Offense the good:
139 yards rushing.
Missing 2 OL the line played well in adverse conditions.
Offense the bad:
Bortles has to learn not to “throw blind” when going down for the sack.
Defense the good:
Allowed only 50 yards rushing.
1 fumble recovery for a TD. 5th defensive TD this season.
Defense the bad:
Special Teams the Good:
Special Teams the Bad:
Mistake the cost the game:
Five Star Players:
111 yards rushing.
Fumble recovery for a touchdown.
1 pass deflected.
Dante Fowler Jr.:
Shout out to Dede Westbrook who caught his first pass in the NFL.
The Jaguars are scheduled to play the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, November 26 at 1 p.m.
